I think Melkor's progression and the way he handles Magic is honestly very weird. Can't seem to decide how he's reading him. Says he's being fake totally unprompted and then says he's town reading him, both without reason.
I think Melkor isn't likely aligned with Ekko. Specifically at that second to last post, it feels like he wouldn't try to bus/shade two mates at once or make an effort to distinguish them. My conclusion is that he is probably mates with Sparkles and is trying to over rationalize his vote on Ekko there.
