as assistant regional advisor i suggest and volunteer to keep record track of the games, winrates, MVPs etc.. and we can discuss suitable rewards titles or medals to give out to the players who do good in games

we can also have a guide for newer players. there r multiple guides in NF and WG that we can yoink lol

we can also have academy games for newer players to help them out get used to the game

lastly community games with the other sections, mostly the OBD section wud be a nice way to introduce mafia section to other section

I can do rankings if you want. If you go to WS and then the mafia university section you can see the spreadsheet and system I use if you wanna check it out.
Or I can give you access to the sheet so you can keep it up to date if you want, I don’t mind. I think that system works well tho. It’s been through a lot of trial and error with us

In terms of guides, I think a role list would be an excellent idea. I know a lot of us use different terminology than what some may have come to expect, so probably would be a useful resource.

I think a fairly straightforward solution would be have Ultra/Poyser or Ultra/Gram (just the first two names that came to mind, as an example) be in charge of the Calander/coaching/have mod perms in the section etc. The second name doesn't even need the advisor tag if that's a point of contention, just that they have the ability to help run the section. Would that be in line with what was expected/promised?

the condensed version is this

- Rugrat, Evans and I for various reasons fell out with the muppets at our previous home and got permanently banned
- Poyser and RDK attempted to get us reinstated cause our conduct was nothing in comparison to some of the stuff they allowed to slide and their section was dying
- it didn’t work so poyser is now also banned, and the rest of the players who came here with us, most of them quit in solidarity
- what we were going to do is set up a new site, however Ekko suggested this, and we very clearly said we’d need assurances of autonomy within reason (ie one of our own would be running the show)

if I’ve missed anything out pls fill in the blanks

I’ll say the same here as what I’ve said elsewhere - to me personally, it doesn’t matter - I already know you and your style. Without naming names, it’s just one of those that will cause problems, even though nobody has done anything unreasonable

i think it will probably end up being a group effort type of thing and not one person running the section / dictating what should be done for the section

@Ral i suggest you and/or your team get in a convo with RDK/poyser/gram or all of them together and discuss their vision and stuff for the section. I can vouche for them as being great players and have experience at modding

if we are running this section as one that is open to players from everywhere it would only make sense that we have representitve mods from the other communities that can have a say in how the section is shaped.

ideally i would imagine a mod from NF/WG and a mod from WS would be good to kick it off for the section.

I guess what my question was aimed at is do you have any asks besides a representative that are unique/specific. In my experience what running things entails is a pretty mundane affair, and if there are elements to "shaping the section" that depart from common expectations (like host queues, rules, statistics, etc that most functional mafia communities have), to elaborate on that.

In any case it sounds like your host forum was home to a bunch of nannying douchebags and I hope you guys have a better experience here
