So apparently FF7 R2 is going to end at the same place Aerith got shanked in the original.

But we will see how they will go with that as I said at this point that they found a way to revive Zack they need a whole lot of courage to off Aerith. I'm betting Zack is actually still dead, and there was some "timeline correction" shennanigans going on. And the party will be trying to fight that to save Aerith.
I could also be wrong, I just would have expected Zack to show up in some of the scenes otherwise.

I'm just glad I never cared enough about FFVII to have any interest in the remake in the first place and that was before I knew they were actively going to be changing shit, right down to the gameplay. I've like ff7 alot but shit when I heard the KH head is the one heading the remake I was already suspicious so I never bought in the remake hype.

Like with how many Unity game gets downloaded in those distributor.
