OBD Convo #42: Tis the Holidays

I’m reminded of Gundam Seed Destiny and it’s initially promising premise of focusing on the ZAFT side of the conflict

Then the writers either ran out of ideas for Shin or couldn’t bear making the previous protagonists painted in anyway as the bad guys and had Jesus Yamato hijack the whole show to be the protagonist again about halfway through.

I've more then had enough of Zeon focused shit. Hell I've more then had enough of OYW shit, what we need is a series focused on the Titans and Gypse Conflict which is horribly underused.

Your preaching to the choir here, I’ll never say no to Zeon but a Titans spin-off would be dope

Their doing Zeon for this so new audiences know how it all first started

Yet 2014 is pretty much unanimously agreed to be the worst of the monsterverse movies and the movies where Godzilla fights other monsters are not only what most people think off when they think of Godzilla, they also helped kick off a ludicrously popular genre of entertainment in Japan. :maybe

But nah, only the ones where it's "serious" are the good movies right? :kobeha
 
Titans spin-off on Cyber Newtypes like Four and Rosamia would be cool

They do that all the time, first with 0080 in the 80s, then with the first CGI series in the 2000s, plenty of manga, video games, Thunderbolt is half Zeon Perspective already, etc, it's just overdone and they never do any other era except once in a blue moon and it is never anything during Zeta, ZZ, or CCA period. I'm just sick of Zeon, don't see why they can't just focus on both sides to get a clear picture here instead of only focusing on Zeon for the seventh time.

We got Earth Federation stuff to like 0083 and 8th MS Team. We just don’t get enough Titans era Earth Fed stuff.

Speaking of ZZ, that time Judau mind fucked the main villain into crying to her room even when she was the one who had him at gunpoint will never not be one of the most Chad MC moments in Gundam history
