One Piece Tier/Feat/Canon/Toei Discussion Thread Part 3: Road to star level

Well, the CP-0 fight got wrapped up real quick. Drake is out and CP-0 seems to be bailing.
That leaves...
-Fukurokuju vs Raizo
-Orochi & Kazenbo vs Yamato
-Big Mom vs Kid & Law
-Kaido vs Luffy
Orochi and the ninja stuff should be settled before the Emperors, so unfortunately we're likely going to come into the New Year having to wrap up the ninja fight before we can get into the Yonko hype. Hopefully they can wrap up Fuku, Orochi, and Kanjuro's monster all in a single chapter so we can jump straight into the main event with no more distractions.

It did there should still be some of the scar left considering the tattoo is on her shoulder while the scar goes onto her back
It being on her back is the mistake, imo
she was stabbing her Arlong tattoo on her shoulder, so she should have the scar on there too.
I always understood it to be that she put the new tattoo over both the old tattoo and the scar

I'll be surprised if Big Mom goes down but it seems like it might happen
Dialogue between tons of characters keeps talking about how the current era will come to an end and a new era will begin. So I fully expect that to happen. I doubt Big Mom will die or anything, but I think she'll either tie or be beaten, and then escape and resurface at Elbaf. Wano wasn't really about her so I don't see her downfall coming just yet. I would actually prefer it if she wins, but Oda doesn't usually throw big twists at us with fights.

I'm not sure where this notion comes from when q character loses they aren't beast anymore. I think too much DB logic gets brought into OP alot.
I've been betting on them bringing down Big Mom this arc and a lot of narrative pieces have been lining up to make it more likely. I'm feeling fairly confident in their success at this point.
Hawkins drawing the tower card over a panel of Kid facing down Big Mom, telling us the meaning is the upheaval of the established order. The CP-0 saying victory for the alliance hinges on the two emperors being defeated and the fate of the era would be decided in the next few minutes over a panel of Law and Kid facing Big Mom. Both are strong indicators to me that her time is about to expire.
Not to mention how deep they're actually into this fight now. Big Mom is fully committed at this point, her legendary invincible body has been broken and she's received the most pain she has in decades, and has sacrificed a year of her lifespan in an attempt to make her victory a reality against these two, pulling out all of the stops. I can't imagine her pulling out now this far in, nor do I see Kid & Law losing because nothing would stop BM from cleaning house if that happened.
I believe Wano is meant to represent the collapse of the World powers and start the new age. Marines have unleashed a new power, the Shichibukai are done for, two of the Yonko fall, and Shanks days may be numbered as well with Blackbeard on the move.
