OBD Convo #43: Merry Christmas, You Filthy Animals

Luke stopped himself from killing his objectively evil father who repeatedly tried to kill him and his friends, did kill his mentor, and committed thousands of heinous war crimes, in the midst of an extremely stressful situation where his comrades were being slaughtered and he was being egged on by a man who could mind rape a planet

Jake Skywalker had a bad dream and nearly killed his then completely innocent nephew by sneaking into his room in the middle of the night

Even if you ignore the enormous difference between the two situations, there's also the meta perspective that going "hey this guy failed the secret test of character he succeeded at during the climax of his original arc, off-screen and in the backstory of this new story" is just blatantly bad writing

It's not a good meme either, it just further shows that leftists can't meme considering how the prequelmemes subbreddit is.
 
Alright, I'm a bit into the Black Clover Mobile game and... it's actually pretty alright.
The gameplay, while not unique(Thank fuck, honestly getting tired of unique only for the sake of it), does try and basically stand out in comparison to it's competition in plenty of areas. While I haven't been able to do Events yet, the few voiced cutscenes have everyone reprising their roles, Dubbed and Subbed(which tends to not be the case as with Dokkan Battle, they tend to just use Voice Clips and they can be distractingly obvious, either that or they actually made damn sure to get ones that sound extremely natural).

The SSR rates sadly do kinda suck(It's not bad overall but it's split between characters and the spellbooks which function similar to Craft Essences to those who know FGO) but it seems like by comparison, none of those lower than SSR suck, can be made into SSRs rather easily and the game has ways to get SSRs through pity and a system to get limited characters as long as you fulfill requirements.
Ultimately, it doesn't feel like a cheap gacha game due to it's sheer presentation and it only came out like 4-5 months ago so I might as well see how far it goes and see if they will include any real craziness with potential characters that Black Clover hasn't really touched on yet.

I keep seeing abunch of gachas that i might have tried but they keep bringing these "unique" card gameplay and i just want them to do a noraml turn based without card shit :skully
