i didnt say it was good, i think it was clearly a vote to get something going from a player that said they will read and give reads but didnt deliver any of it

She also started the day via saying that the player in question is a conversion angle and ended up voting their only after she said she wasn't pursuing conversion today lol

in fact, im going to counter this and say it is by far one of the easiest roles to actually fake as scum

there is quite literally no way to prove yoho's role
the only way we would know if he prevented a recruit is if the game ends

furthermore, i just dont see the feasibility of it balance-wise (granted idk the setup but just seeing sparkles' flip for example)
i am to assume there r 14 town and 2 mafia to start the game off (scum r trying to reach 4 total mafia via their recruits)

assuming all goes well for mafia recruit-wise and they r not killed/lynched + 0 misfires from vig, they would need 5 mislynches to win
compare it to a regular 12 town and 4 mafia game from the start, they would need 4 mislynches to win in the same scenario (less than this game)

and mind u, scum only start with 2 members this game, they can already fail recruits on im assuming, the strong roles (invests, protects, etc.) which would increase the number of mislynches scum need by 1 for every failed recruit
to add another role on top of everything that makes it even harder to get a recruit just doesnt really make much sense to me
could be wrong ofc since idk how scum roles r set up and how the game is balanced but just my 2 cents

when you look at the big picture, yoho's supposed role really only prevents the cult from targeting the most obvious players and then turns into a vanilla townie after night 2, with no confirmation of what they did beforehand (like you said)
i can see this role fitting into the setup to make the cults think more carefully about their choices
there's no real reason to assume every strong role is unconvertable, especially when the two unconvertable claims we've seen so far (vigi and plague doctor) make sense to be immune to conversion, while the miller claim (flower) never said she was immune
also, a vaccine role fits so well with the setup's flavor lol

i couldn't be assed to join the sparkles wagon when deep down i knew she'd flip town even though it didn’t logically make sense and i didn’t scum read emil, so i just let my vote stay where it was, tbh, it was pretty much a non vote for me

soul and flower my strongest town reads, saber can see town from early day engagement with flower coming off different from his recent scum game in wg. tweet i think his entrance was solid and he entertained yoho even tho the timing of it is convenient atleast it was something. could be scum having a good game but is something to worry about later and dont think scum will be bussing in day 1 when its only 2 members.

aurelian thought was distraction townie but the sparkle flip makes me reconsider as his main directions yesterday were both town and hes a guranteed pro-scum vote even if hes town. cant be bothered with dealing with this sht in a cult game. cant clear him for low accuracy this game as he would only have 1 teammate day 1 and if he gets culted we wont even know the difference. chalking him up to townie here in order to progress PoE but wont be opposed to get his claim at least. he didnt do town tell either so im being extremely generous with this one

cp and gram failed the litmus test on a player they shud reasonably be able to read well so hopefully they got something for us today. on surface level play they seem fine but nothing much was happening last day and sparkle kinda self destructed so its not hard for them to fake the thoughts they made day 1. even if those 2 started town they will be the most obvious cult choice if the scum team is cowards. gonna be big day for them today in terms of determining their alignment.

hime gad melkor are all just there, they ask questions but i dont see much drawn conclusions from them. possible we got 1 scum playing it safe there and needs to be pressured. lethal was very easy to bend last day, dont know if this is a town indicative thing of him. probably wud think so. atleast shows open mindedness which is not regular for me to see from him, maybe trying to get on my good side here ngl. hes more of a coward as scum so probs wont bother responding to me, could slot him town for sake of PoE and defer to gram/flower as they read him better

luka i think can be scum. danced around the sparkle town read despite identifying things that he think are scummy from her, and kept his vote on me entire day for a joke post about yeeting cp. dont think he was really all that invested in finding scum, could side quest get a claim from him today

if i forgot to mention anyone, start playing more. we need more original thoughts in this thread if we r to win this. we need people to play as townie as they can in order for us to detect change in behavior to find the culted players, its pretty much the only way this is remotely winnable after losing vig day 1

think yall shud give me my yoho yeet if u got nothing better tbdean. nothing is his play is townie, nothing is keeping him alive aside from claim. the sparkle wagon derailed us from him and he was happy to hop on for bunch of nonsense. i shuda stuck with him yesterday. happy to entertain other wagons for claims or mech but im very dead set on this one otherwise. we giving him the axe today.

Yeah, I get this too. I know flavor isn't meant to be super scientific but vaccines only leaving one free of being recruited for 1 night doesn't feel right. Not when there's legit full on unrecruitable roles. It makes no sense to have this. Gonna vote for the man after I catch up.
