Game Official Ranked Xmas Mafia 2024 - Where Worlds Collide

Leaves a PoE of:

Evans/Sparkles/Brutus/Guillo/Pein/Alexis

Can fit Ekko in there if Guillo is Town.

X could be a possible blind spot for me, but else I feel pretty good about my Town reads.

Ratchet is probably just Town. Don‘t see him aligned with my other scum leans.

Alexis is self resolving with his claim tho, so not really a lynch candidate for me.
More or less where I'm at. Could swap Lapland if Ekko is town into scum, and Alco I think is a big ?

Think you have good points on Brutus.

Alco isn‘t likely aligned with Sparkles given their interactions and he isn’t trying to look too Townie so far. I‘m not his best reader, but he vibes more like inactive Town from the Boys than how he played in Darkest Dungeon as scum tbh. If Sparkles is Town we can revisit him though.

How do you guys feel on Fang (Aurelian)?

I can see him being town but it bothered me how he felt the need to back track his Melkor defense only to then put Melkor as null later.

I think the best thing going for Fang (which may be very weak) is I noticed him doing his own thing sniffing around and asking about Jigsaw.
I don't know how many games we've played together honestly but if you think you have an activity or behavior tell me then I find that super interesting. To my knowledge we haven't played many games together and I don't really count the SRM games on WorstGen has really counting much.

Anyway I've done more then just suspect Jigsaw. If you think I'm scum then FWIW then not much I can do about it.

He defended him again Ultra saying it was a LHF push and Melkor looked like always. Then he later came back and said he felt weird for defending him bc he looks bad.

Then he has him null again later saying “he’s Melkor”
That did sort of happen - yes. But the fact IS that Melkor generally gets lynched or mislynched in most games here on day 1. He very much fits to a t being a LHF for someone like Ultra. I didn't like it because it came off as Ultra playing easy mode and punching down but the more Melkor tried to defend himself and the tangent with Flower v Sparkles and how he reacted from therein being questioned is why I eventually felt the need to go along with voting him in lieu of Watson or Jigsaw. Pretty much by the time I voted him (well before he was bound to be hammered IIRC) Melkor had already dug his own grave.

My point being I think your original defense didn’t require you to be town reading him. Null would have sufficed for the point you were making against

For you to then decide he looks icky enough to need to vocally take back what you said earlier and basically say you feel awkward defending him means it would have made more sense for him to be a scum read at that point more than a null.

If he was still just null you don’t really need to backtrack. If you’d have had him in your scum reads after I’d have thought nothing of it bc that would make more sense.

against Ultra*

Likewise if you were actively town reading him that early before and you did move him down that’s also weird to have been town reading Melkor that early lol.

I never gave a town read on Melkor. I always kept him as a null because he has pretty much the same foibles as scum as he does as town which makes him look worse. But there's a reaction tell I can usually gleam off Melkor to know when he's screwing up and that was abundantly clear later on.

Also this is well before he got lynched so no, its a position I said would be awkward because I was soft defending early on against Ultra, nothing to do with how I null read him in itself.

Well the impression I got earlier was you were leaning town but idk maybe that was just a setup for a red herring to vote him

I still think it's a low bar to swing at Melkor but not gonna bat for him that much

The problem is Melkor does that as lot as town too but w/e

Tell me about the one called Jigsaw

Think Sparkles is fine tbdean, the entire angle looking back makes me feel awkward defending Melkor when he said he was sussing her for voting Flower and it got overblown while Melkor probably internally freaked out afterwards

That said feeling Tweet is probably town, I don't think TvT is at play with whatever is being talked about between Craig vs Ekko
Dr_Prof would lean town and feel comfortable about him and Fujishiro, no idea about Lethal

You are pretty fruity tbdean

But nah I've long past given up hope of helping Melkor out of the hole he's dug himself into so your kind of grasping at straws there

As of now this is where I'm at

Town leaning
Poyser
Chuck
Tweet
Magic
Fujishiro
Dr.Prof
Alco
Sparkles
Jigsaw
Lethal

Null:
Craig/Tempest (feels he's more likely town tho)
X
Seraphoenix
Kiku aka GoddessBlade
Lappland
Ratchet
Ultra
Evans
T-Pein
Watson
Rugrat
Pqwerty (no idea with this guy)
Melkor (its Melkor)

Scummy:
Guillo (refusing to elaborate on his reads when questioned)
Brutus (hasn't even posted I think)
RDK (claims indie which means not town pretty clearly cut)
Alexis (has really just fluff posted and voted, nothing to do with actual solving)
Ekko (hasn't done anything townie imo, he's been baiting around a bit and engagement with Magic & the others seems performative to me)

Vpte Lynch Melkor

Haven't caught up but 30+ pages isn't gonna happen

Find a post where I said I actually I town-read Melkor, m8. I don't vote people I town read.

That’s pretty much my point tho, it came off weird to backtrack when your read basically didn’t change. He was null, you saw more but nothing that didn’t still kept him just null. But it was enough to get self conscious about even tho it didn’t change your read.

If something is bad enough for me to backtrack it is probably enough to affect my read.
