I.e if Poyser flips town, there are three of us that take the main blame for it, as opposed to now two.

In isolation I don't like what I've read from Sparkles today as she seems to be both trying to take extra credit from the Poyser lynch while also working back into a town read of him. But thinking it through, that's probably not how scum with Poyser would play it.

pqwerty has a lot of posts over the night which look like genuine solving. Might be worth holding on him, I can't understand the chat angle but without his flavour claim at least I can't even see if our characters have a connection, so @Pqwerty I would like that in the chat.

Will need to go back through the thread tomorrow. I would like to see more from Gad, GB and Ichigo today, for various reasons.

Yup, exactly. If you want to maintain the game state you kill someone with nothing to do with it, surviving a lynch without that being claimed is generally going to result in you being the following lynch too. No need to kill a mislynch then.

This is typically the case with Fuji games. In fact a lot of the time they're rather conditional as well, think "unlocks day 3" etc.

To be clear I think it's viable in something more like a ranked game. In a Fuji game, there are so many ways that Poyser can be cleared that using the lynch stop to set up an extra wasted day is almost always never worth it. Only takes one lie detect or writeup checker or whatever to throw the bottom out of the whole plan. I would go as far as to say that if it turns out to be the case, that says quite a lot about the Mafia here, and I'd probably be immediately advocating we get Magic out of here.

It's a technique I've even tried myself lmao if you remember
But yea I don't see scum wasting a lynch stop on town just to waste the day when the same thing can be achieved by using it on a mate with the bonus of being able to use their abilities in the night phase

I wouldn’t even expect a lie detector or innocent scan to help him because usually it’s GFers who can survive lynches

But also I just never see why you get more out of saving him than just waiting to use it if you can use it on anyone

It really is the kind of argument that just falls apart the more you think about it lol

Anyway I'm going to ask that we move away from discussing Poyser here as he's just a distraction. He can leave his legacy in isolation if he wants.

I'm a bit concerned about the lack of directions after him. Almost feels like it's too easy, think I probably want to get a few claims from the peanut gallery today even though it won't be easy.
