Breath of Fire List and Feat Discussion Thread

I’m just going to copy and paste most of the feats of BoF1 that I posted before.

They should be around country level to planetary range at the end of the games.

Ryu and his party should be pretty fast, his sister Sara at the beginning of the game likes to constantly spam lightning magic, and Judas was casually dodging them.

The speed of Ryu’s sister lightning magic looks quite similar to Onox’s lightning feat from Oracle of Seasons

Goddess Myria was sealed away into six Goddess Keys in BoF1. The Earth Key is capable of causing earthquakes anywhere on the planet (could be between country level to continent level with planetary range). The Light Key and Dark Key are capable of turning night to day, and day to night (planetary or so, must be pretty high to forcefully rotate the planet). The Sky Key is capable of turning spring into a perpetual winter. The Time Key is capable of manipulating time and space. The King Key that powers the Stone Robot that can fire lasers capable of destroying the village Tuntar (the weakest showing out of the six keys).

Ryu and his party eventually defeat the Goddess Myria, with the power of the Infinity dragon. It's the only way to for Ryu to truly defeat Myria and get the Good Ending which canonically leads off to Breath of Fire 2.


In BoF3 Goddess Myria was strong enough to split the two continents apart from each other in order to stop the Desert of Death from spreading (could be around continent level to planetary level).

Could probably use the world map of BoF1 and BoF2 as a basis due to both of them being in the same universe as BoF3.

The town Wyndia (the red dot with the red arrow) is still in the same similar location when comparing BoF1 world map with BoF2, BoF2 takes place roughly over 500 years after BoF2.

And here’s the location of Wyndia in BoF3, which takes place several hundred or thousand years after the previous games.

BoF3 world map is like quarter of the whole planet. This is the only decent world map of BoF3 that someone did by using the cheat to walk through walls and another cheat to be able to move the camera.

It's assumed that Goddess Myria created a pocket dimension of countless stars, there have been other dungeons with the same background.

Here's some feats from the manga sequel via Breath of Fire - Tsubasa no Oujo (might not be canon). They have the Ice Dragon Clan as there new enemy, and they're trying to revive the Ice Dragon King from his slumber.

Scans for Kruce, who is the magician for the Ice Dragon Clan:

• Using an instant ice spell to generate a gigantic spiky ice pillar.
• Kruce freezing Ryu in a gigantic block of ice.
• Might be the one who froze the entire surface of the sea (when the Ice Dragon Clan awoken from their slumber the entire world end up becoming an perpetual winter).
• Is able to match Deis (one of the best sorceress in the world, and is Goddess Myria's sister).

Scans for Deis:

• Here's the damage her explosion spells can do.
• Kruce was able to feel the warmth from it.

Scans for the Ice Dragon King:

• Here's how big he is.
• The Ice Dragon King is two people sharing the same body back to back, his other half isn't awaken because Kruce didn't have enough power to revive him (Kruce was near death by this point).
• Capable of causing this much destruction with the flap of his wings.
• Deis firing a explosion spell at him, only for the Ice Dragon King to use his ice magic to make a shield to block it, and freeze it.
• Ryu firing a Dragon out of his sword, only for the Ice Dragon King to use his ice magic to make a sword, and slice it in half with his airslashes including Ryu (also broke Ryu's sword), only for Nina to heal Ryu's wounds.

Scans for Ryu:

• Ryu eventually broke out of his ice situation, and saved Nina.
• Showing his power to fire a Dragon out of his sword, one shotting Kruce. That was also his first time in using that ability.
• Here's Ryu finishing off the Ice Dragon King with some sort of power for his sword, fusing his attack with Deis magic and Gilliam's magic to make a White Dragon appear to wreck his shit.

Goddess Myria apparently feared the Ice Dragon King, and the Ice Dragon Clan so much that she used half of her power to seal them away before the first game.

Which is consistent in BoF3, where she feared the Dragon Clan/Brood as a whole so much that she appointed the Guardians to exterminate the dragons to near-extinction (the Brood are strong enough to easily defeat them, but they didn't fight back).

Fou-Lu's Dark Wave looks to be around planet level




There's Ryu's Behemoth form with this meteor feat from both BoF3 and BoF4.



There's Ryu's Hybrid form by fusing with Momo, can fire some sort of nuke in BoF3.



This speed feat of the Kaiser dragon in BoF4, leaving the planet's atmosphere into outer space that looks similar to the Tyrant dragon's DarkWave animation.

With combo magic in BoFIV the party are able to summon a space meteor and supernova



There's some random jobbers from Joker's Gang either tanking or dodging Nina's lightning from BoF2



Ray who is a priest and secretly a Brood/Dark Dragon Clan using his magic to create a barrier to hold back a flood.



Sanamo, a Shaman of Fire tries to fuse with Ryu, only for it to backfire. The power of fusing is so strong that Ryu's isn't any ordinary man, and his power of the dragons have awakened. The extent of the damage from fusing is so strong, that all of the Kayhaw/Jah Woods burns to a crisp.

Momo summoning an even bigger meteor or what looks like the moon.

Now that I taking another look at this, BoF1, 2 & 3 might be solar system level. Does anyone think this looks like stars, or is it equivalent to a dark cave with shiny ores?
