RotR got me to check out Naraka again (since its the closest thing to team ninja pvp there is since they use the engine) and these madmen dropped this :skully

Definitely (unlkess you're a shogunate dog :maybe) Currently just trying to finish off everything before Stellar Blade comes out but just fucking around with the different weapons is fun

This is cool but not exactly applicable in a vs fight

With those feats he should be faster than anyone in the series pre or post skip but he still doesn't have any answer to beings like the angels/Konron ect so probably Anthrax if he's got the firepower to handle it

He couldn't really beat anyone of note tbh. He's got plenty of hax but a lot of characters even pre time skip are just faster with higher firepower

I'll probably pick this up after I check out the anime. Especially since the manga seems to be a reaction img goldmine. Black Clover is also good but I figured dude has probably already seen or is aware of more modern stuff

Shadow Skill would also be good but I think going from the OVAs (which were animated much better and are more faithful to the manga) to the TV series wouldn't hold his attention. Yeah theres more story and it's still pretty good but the TV series never manages to recapture the magic in the OVAs

Don't really think there'd be much for him. If he likes Isekai he might like high fantasy in general in which case I'd recc Slayers, Sorcerer Stabber Orphen (Which has gotten a recent anime if he doesn't wanna watch the older ones), Bastard!! (Has also gotten a more recent anime)Escaflowne (an Isekai funnily enough), and Those Who Hunt Elves(also an isekai). This is imo a decent mix of both the comedic and serious. If he takes to those I'd recommend the Lodoss OVAs. The TV series is eh but not complete ass or anything but the OVAs are timeless. I'd recc pretty much anything by Mizuno tbh so Lodoss, Rune Soldier and Crystania. Scrapped Princess as a niche pick and Fushigi Yugi as a meme :maybe

What is his current taste? What is he looking for? Is he averse to watching older stuff? ect
