Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 5: Diamonds are fleeting. Stupid lasts forever

Atleast there's someone whose finally intelligent putting their foot down on it...
More surprised they aren't getting swarmed by the "smart people of SB" that try and downplay everything to make the feat an "outlier" though. That will probably be the next thread against an actual "SB Favorite".

The funny part is that he could have just used the info in the original FFVII about how Materia is just a conduit of the Lifestream and the Planet's Knowledge, it was that which Sephiroth was aiming for since that's far more powerful than his Supernova and Meteor the entire time(Since the Planet... created Meteor pre-Remake change) and that Zack faced off against Summons that are actually summoned in Crisis Core.... but I think doing that simple level for Remake would cause people to reject it for stupid reasons so I guess go for the Remake option.

I might have found the most reddit comment Ive seen in a long time

Like no fucking duh magic doesn't exist your not smart for going "Uhh actually magic doesn't exist so everyone dies", your just being a smartass and ignoring the actual intent of the question.

Kinda weird to make a thread like this to be honest but of course, Siriel has to show that he thinks he's smart when in actuality he's an idiot:

They just need to meet one person with a functioning brain who can point out that they can use the relic to create an extradimensional base with a portal they can close from the inside to be functionally untouchable to anything shown in Versus so far.

In concept, this is not a bad idea at all due to how the Staff just apparently worked for giving Penny a new body and creating those portals... The problem is in practice that the Staff still requires schematics and otherwise to actually BUILD the thing you want it to be built as the actual requirements to make it.
Meaning unless the characters already know how to make such a thing and present it to the Djinn, then yeah no sorry. Just because the writers didn't give a shit doesn't mean we should.

2025 and we still have people, especially with the existence of the TYBW Anime and it's additions actually believe Monster Aizen and Dangai Ichigo are worth anything to the Royal Guard is just laughable.

I'm going to say this and it's probably gonna rustle @Adamant soul 's feathers a bit alongside the other Bleacheads but I gotta say it as a matter of fact:
Dangai Ichigo and Monster Aizen are strong... but they are about as strong as Shikai Yamamoto at full blast. The reason I say this is primarily due to the fact that Isshin Kurosaki was able to fuck up Chrysalis Aizen once he finally got the opening with a Getsuga Tenshou... from his base Zanpaktou to the point of forcing another transformation(And we know this is what Aizen needs as he explicitly stated he needs to be weakened or exhausted for the Hogokyu to work it's magic). Gin's Bankai did similar work to that Aizen form which again, is what Aizen required to go to his next form and his performance against Ichigo for his final form.

But the issue is that none of it really feels like it's honestly above even Shikai Yamamoto's paygrade especially in considering for Ichigo's performance plenty of times in his Fullbring Shikai and Bankai state(The former has him utterly ruining Ginjo who should be Captain tier in just Shikai and Luder as well) which we know is basically his Fullbring and Soul Reaper powers melded into one(As his Hollow Powers are not mixed into that nor his Quincy powers). So I don't get how Monster Aizen is ever a threat to someone utterly beyond him and plenty of outside material has ever shown no one in the RG felt any fear from Aizen at all.

10 Most Powerful Party Leaders in Final Fantasy, Ranked

Awww shit son, here we go

10 - Vaan: Vaan has a tragic backstory, as he is the leader of a group of impoverished orphans. This upbringing leads him to train in the ways of swordsmanship and combat as he wants to protect those he loves. Unlike many party leaders throughout the series, Vaan does not have as much of a story impact, as his strength is shown primarily in combat segments, but he is still important and one of the strongest party leaders in the Final Fantasy franchise.

9 - Cecil: Cecil was raised by the king and trained to become a Dark Knight during this period, but his inability to come to terms with his own emotions made him out of place in this role. Because of this, Cecil eventually leaves the king, as he does not understand the decisions of the nobility and disagrees with how they are stealing from the innocent. Overall, Cecil Harvey's power comes primarily from his strong sense of justice, and he is one of the series' best Paladins.

8 - Terra: Terra was raised as an experiment of the Geshtalian Empire after she was taken from her parents at a young age. Through this process, Terra learns powerful fire magic and access to the Magitek armor, a powerful suit of armor that protects her from almost all damage. Overall, Terra Branford is a phenomenal character, and players are thrilled whenever she is in a Final Fantasy title.

7 - Zidane: In combat, Zidane uses his thief skills to take items from the enemy that can be used later. Furthermore, he also has an amazing set of supportive abilities that allows him to fulfill the role of party leader quite well. Overall, while he does not get the same level of praise as some of the other party leaders in the series, Zidane's personality makes him an endearing character and an amazing party leader.

6 - Cloud: While Cloud might not be a SOLDIER, his physical strength is on par with the members of that program, as he was experimented on by Shinra and Professor Hojo in their attempts to perfect a Sephiroth clone. Because of this, Cloud is immensely difficult to take down in battle because his speed and strength are almost unmatched in the Final Fantasy VII universe. Overall, Cloud Strife is an iconic character, and he will always be remembered as one of the series' most influential faces.

5 - Squall: Squall Leonhart wields one of the first instances of the gunblade in gaming history, and it is this weapon that allows him to keep up with even his strongest foes. As an orphan, Squall trained in the way of the blade as he tried to get stronger before journeying out to track down his closest friend who had left him behind. Despite the divisive nature of Final Fantasy VIII, Squall Leonhart still stands out as one of the series' strongest party leaders.

4 - Tidus: Tidus is one of the most powerful party leaders in Final Fantasy history because of how much power he derives from Yuna's magic and his signature weapon. While it is implied that the light-hearted hero dies at the end of the game, he has lived on in the hearts of Final Fantasy fans as one of the most memorable leaders that the franchise has ever created.

3 - Noctis - By the end of the game, Noctis is arguably the most powerful character in his universe, as he gains the power of the kings and can go between the world of the living and the afterlife. While Final Fantasy XV was not appreciated by all and the game had far too much DLC, Noctis is till an amazing protagonist with power that is nearly unmatched in the franchise.

2 - Clive: Throughout the game, Clive gains the power of every Eikon, making him have more magical power than any other character in the universe. Because of this, he can stand up to an almost deified entity, Ultima, and take him down in battle before saving the world. Because the game's ending is open-ended, players do not know for sure what happened to the Shield of Rosaria, but he is still one of the most powerful characters in Final Fantasy history.

1 - By the end of her journey, Lightning's prowess with her gunblade and her skills in hand-to-hand combat allow her to defeat nearly immortal beings. Furthermore, she has some of the most powerful magic in the series, as she can wield the powers of the Eidolon, Odin. While some fans might dislike her as a character, Lightning is by far the strongest party leader in Final Fantasy history.

Idk something about this dont seem right in a way

I mean he's right, Modern Yamcha would absolutely hand Gilgamesh his ass because the closest we can get for Gil is Star-Solar System level which Yamcha SHOULD be atleast above if you subscribe to the same shit that Super allowed Master Roshi to suddenly be onpar with Saiyan Beyond God Goku(or atleast not be instantly taken out by him).

It's a hell of a reach and Yamcha can technically wear down Gilgamesh anyway through sheer speed and still having enough strength to deal Gilgamesh a "Death By a Thousand Cuts" but it's still there.

1. The fact that people keep using Star Rankings as canon is the funniest shit considering Jack The Ripper is a 5 Star and she's canonically weaker than the Hassans who are nothing to write home about past their abilities as Assassins to kill Masters while Arash is a 1 Star who canonically is Tristan's equal.

2. Roland is one of the strongest of the Paladins and a rival to Charlemagne in pure might and his bullshit version of Durandal(Which already has shown to be able to match up with Anti-Planet weaponry and still be completely intact) while having Diamond Tier defenses that require the strongest of Servants to do any damage outside of attacking the SOLES OF HIS FEET(which good luck doing that even with knowing his weakness) or sending a honeypot to bait him into losing his mind. If he was in Fate/Stay Night, he would be a powerhouse like everyone else is.

3. Saying ASHWATTHAMAN is irrational is not just disingenuous, it's literally against his legend as Ashwatthaman... is a fucking battle genius on top of being so damn strong, the reason why the war ended the way it did was because Duryodhana fucked up:
In the Mahabharata while Duryodhana lies dying with a crushed throat, he lifts three fingers to Krishna who subconsciously understands that Duryodhana had realized the three causes he did not win the destructive Kurukshetra War. The last and most important of these is that he did not make Aśvatthāman his supreme general ahead of timenote as this would have given him both the motivation and the position to guarantee victory.
This is also insane to state because the second Ashwatthaman was able to break out of God Arjuna's Curse, he created a plan that solidified God Arjuna's defeat... so how the fuck is he irrational?!

4. Again, why do people ignore that Saint Graph differences matter? Qin Liangyu being a 4 Star doesn't mean shit because her stats doesn't matter because Cu is on a whole different power than she is(Fate/Extella states the man is onpar with Karna and Samurai Remnant has him see Arjuna as someone worth fighting... I'm 100% sure Liangyu would be dusted fighting either). EMIYA being a 4 Star for this makes even less sense because F/SN explicitly shows EMIYA has NO CHANCE fighting Cu in a headon fight and only succeeded against Cu's absurd speed in the 2nd fight in UBW by using Cu's Bloodlust to his advantage to survive.
This is seriously some really stupid shit here and for what? To still downplay Ritsuka so Shirou can come off better in a field he would suck miserably on?(Because people love forgetting Shirou would get murdered fighting anyone but Gilgamesh because while he can copy stats and styles from the weapons he copies, that's ALL he copies while the Heroic Spirit knows how to fight inside and outside the box)
