When me and my niggas living in New York City suddenly remember it's actually been over a year since a theater that had been around from 1999 like College Point Multiplex Cinemas just closed forever:

My reactions to all this from the MIBU Phases video:

0:00 - When I just found out on Facebook that College Point Multiplex Cinemas was confirmed to close on May 7th earlier last year.

0:20 - When I was still in the stage of denial and tried to process and cope with the news...

0:40 - When I realize that upcoming movies like Deadpool and Wolverine would only be released by the time the theater is gone...

0:53 - When I spent one last time in the theater with my best friend as I played my last games in the arcade section like Mario Kart GPX
and got on the Triotech motion-simulator ride with my best friend before he went straight home in a car service first.

1:05 - When I finished watching Godzilla x King Kong: The New Empire with my family as our last movie there after 20-25 years of going there and took our final shots of the entire place's interior before we stepped out the entrance and left.

1:18 - When I had the very last look at the entire theater's exterior from the view of our car as we began to drive home at almost midnight. And going to bed realizing that we would never see the cinemas itself in the light of day ever again.

And the fact I actually never got the chance to see another Studio Ghibli film like "The Boy And The Heron" in that place again after "Secret World of Arrietty" in 2012 and after I was told on the phone it never played, when according to Google, it did.

Well tbh, I was still expecting (some) reactions in the absence of responses. That and nothing else really.

However, I will try and avoid tagging too many people, especially with split posts, in the future.

Thats the thing, you shouldnt expect a response cause no one owes you one. if they want to they will, if they dont then they wont. its as simple as that
