I love that thread. I remember reading it back in 2018 while I was at an anime convention . I started back around october 2018 reading DC because I realized I couldn't trust respect threads and began with either Emperor Joker, Dominus Effect, or Death of the New Gods (Forgot which) and then after reading your thread I decided to start systematically reading through DC.
They are trying to do pre-Flashpoint Superman in his entirely. They claim they have managed to refute my arguments and arguments from past threads like that regarding feats from Red King, Nebula Man, the Superman Clash, etc such that they are valid (Upon cursory look I disagree with their arguments). This also means also trying to get rid of the pre-death/Byrne/Early Jurgens Era key and claim Byrne Era/Pre-Death Superman is also universal due to "I can take on Monarch" or some nonsense as early as 1986. Apparently people who agree with me it's all nonsense are debating that the arguments they have don't hold water which is good.
