But if I had to be honest with ya dude, from just the little I saw or read about online, I kinda find all of the Yugioh spin-off anime after the original series, GX, and maybe 5D/Zexal to be extremely redundant and in my opinion even more stale and boring than Pokemon's anime in its current state.
But Pokemon did legitimately used to be the best and most exciting show for my 2nd Grade self back in its day and their first two movies or so were nothing short of based and epic when I first saw them, that is until I abruptly switched to Digimon on Fox Kids about a year later in the earlier part of 3th Grade and converted to Digimon as my top Saturday Morning program and anime series of choice over Pokemon until the end of Tamers (still my most fondly remembered Digimon series by far) and somewhere mid-way in Frontiers (my other most favorite Digimon series) on ABC Sundays after Fox Kids got replaced by the Fox Box when I was close to the end of 6th Grade.
I remember back in 3rd Grade, I actually used to find myself on the Digimon side defending the show against the rest of my classmates who preferred Pokemon and accused Digimon of being a rip-off (only a few of my classmates were on my side of liking Digimon) until I did a 180 and defected back to the Pokemon side after the Digimon series already ended on my Saturday Morning TV here in America when I got into 7th Grade. Then in my junior high school years, I preferred Yugioh as a series the most out of the three especially when it came to the card games. But since high school and beyond, I've stuck with Pokemon over the two consistently. Even though I don't watch nor follow Pokemon or Digimon/Yugioh much in the slightest anymore.
