I like to think I would have won either way - I'd deduced Prof was a dragon slayer over Day 3 so once he avoided the lynch it was more or less a done deal. I also don't really think I was all that "anti scum" - over the time I was alive I'd been the only non town role that had killed town at all. Thread wise I was fairly passive too, I think your kill selection was pretty evidently suboptimal early, obviously was a lot better afterwards. Still, if you'd shot into your actual threats night 1, 2 or 3 the endgame is likely very different.
That's the point though - you didn't have to get rid of me at all. If you came to the conclusion that I'm Indie, then a glance over the thread state would tell you that I'm not going to reach endgame either way, so your options would either be to let me resolve or block me/redirect me or protect yourselves. As scum, especially in multi ball, you already have a town to kill and an enemy scum team - spending a rolecrush, a busdrive, a role cop and 3 separate kills on a role that you *can* win with is obviously going to work against you. If even a single one of those kills had gone on a townie and worked you almost certainly win the game.
The second kill on my wasn't that bad still, it's not out of the realm of possibility that it was only a one time immunity so I can see the logic behind it. I think you guys could have caught on to me being indie from day 2, and by definition even if I'm siding with town killing me is less useful than killing town, the real misstep was probably night 3 because by that point you could assume I'd be self-resolving before long.
Why rolecop me the same night you're trying to kill me with a rolecrush? Honestly Purple spent *a lot* of resources the first three cycles for no actual gain, ended up being a deciding factor even.
That has nothing to do with what I said, lol. The reason I won N3 and didn't die was because I was killing Prof. As Prof was a Dragon Slayer, my kill upgraded to a superkill. Ekko didn't originally factor in, though, that I was 2 ranks above Prof too, making my kill an Ultra Kill. That meant my kill worked through your rolecrush, giving me the win before your kill removed me.
I was really surprised you guys killed me Night 3. Night 1 I could understand, Night 2 less so because I'd intentionally played reserved and some had caught on to me being Indie, but I can also get testing another kill just in case to not waste the first one, but the night 3 one was weird given that I'd be in discussion for the lynch if nothing else. I think it probably cost you guys a bit too - on the surface, me killing three town should put town on the back foot, but you spending three kills on me in return (and a rolecrush) evened that out completely. Still though, you were unlucky at the end.
3 shots, 3 kills. Not even dragons make for worthy sport. The King will await the rest of the winners at the finish line. Thanks for the game @Ekkologix!
