Why is the entirety of the side that wasn't destroyed by Mugetsu different? You said only his wings are destroyed, but his entire left side is different. He wouldn't need to heal a part of his body that doesn't get damaged, no?

My question is this: so you're saying he was completely enveloped in Mugetsu, but for some reason only his wings were being destroyed? How does that work? The entirety of his body looks different after he gets hit by it. No holes in the middle of his chest, no wings, no monstrous faceguard, etc. Combine that with Mugetsu clearly eclipsing (heh, moon pun) him in terms of size when he gets hit in chapter 421, I'd think it makes more sense that he just.. got completely hit by the attack. Doesn't make a lot of sense for Ichigo to think only cutting him in half would do the job, is all I'm saying.

I don't think that's a good example, since it's a far away shot and it's not really easy to tell given the perspective. It's literally impossible that it isn't wide enough to envelop Aizen... because we can see that's not the case. It clearly envelops him in this panel, starting to destroy him completely. It's practically 1:1 in the anime as well.

You know Aizen can be weakened after regenerating an entirely new body, right? They're not mutually exclusive.

It's shown clearly in both the manga and the anime. Mugetsu's fucking huge. There's no way you can argue he only got cut in half without sounding asinine when we clearly see Mugetsu envelop his entire body.

Explain why he looks completely different then. The panel shows Mugetsu enveloping his entire body. I read the chapter too, you know.

It's right there in chapter 421. He gets completely enveloped by Mugetsu and we see it begin to destroy him completely. Here's how Aizen looks in chapter 420, before getting hit by Mugetsu. Here he is in chapter 421, after getting hit by Mugetsu. I'm not sure how you can reason Aizen only being cut in half when he looks completely different after he gets hit by Mugetsu. He's literally missing both of his wings. Like it's pretty clear-cut lol

Ichigo's Mugetsu completely enveloped Aizen and he looks completely different after he regenerates, that's what I'm referring to. Idk what Yhwach being able to nullify his regen has to do with this.

Aizen DID come back from getting his body completely destroyed, to be fair :mjpls ..but, even with the realm shaking feat in the anime, that's not enough to escape a black hole :tupac

Because they're saying DK Touma (who isn't even in this thread mind you) would die to the planet being destroyed (in response to him potentially soloing the verse)... which seems unlikely considering he's a literal reality warper in that state. Same goes for him being erased by All Fiction.
