Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

Oh, explains why Welt reacted like he did when he found out about her backstory. So Acheron basically comes from "bad end Hi3" then?

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

About that While I gather from osmosis that "Raiden Mei" was an important Hi3 character, fan reaction to Acherons name and the obvious special treatment make me curious as to how important. Was she like the rival or something?

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

Like I said, pretty sure Acheron is actually stronger because I think Acheron is just The Special Snowflake (tm), but I don't think her current feats put her above actually fighting a Lord Ravager on even terms Until she off-screens one next patch or something. Girl has that Squirrel Girl grind going on. :skully

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

Each Cornerstone is one tenth of the power an Emanator of Preservation gave to the IPC, so I don't think Aventurine was really meant to be in that weight class. His plan was based on the idea that fighting her was total suicide no matter what, after all. And I think the Lord Ravagers are supposed to be in a class of their own in general when it comes to Emanators, so him and DHIL taking down a roided out one is still the best showing we have against that level of power.

I'm also pretty sure that if HSR lasts long enough Acheron will be the one to kill IX, so we'll see how that goes :zaru

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

There are indeed bangers involved. Also a couple of slower songs that are pretty solid as well. Honkai music is great. Atm I'd rate JY higher because we've seen him actually fight a Lord Ravager. I'm like 90% sure Acheron is actually stronger but she's only really used her powers twice, once on a way weaker opponent (Aventurine) and once to fuck up the Dreamscape. JY was able to contend with another Emanator who was borrowing the power of a second Aeon as well.

Penacony is better than the Luofu, and while i doubt The Wildfire Battle (tm) will ever be removed as my favorite moment in the series, the general quality in Penacony is above that of Jarillo VI as well.

Ay, welcome aboard. And glad to have more people interested in HSR lore because I'm skillgated out of any content that might be in the endgame modes :catcry

I think the domain/body thing is true, but not only would it not matter to Susan's powers, it can be overcome through sheer force. And it's Susan fucking Richards

I don't know what you asked, but ORT gets the Tazzyronth treatment. As in Qlipoth (giant orange hammer dude) pops into existence, goes "hell naw we ain't doin another bug war" and then smashes his hammer into ORT so hard reality collapses. ORT kills and eats anything besides the Aeons themselves, though

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

Aventurine isn't actually an Emanator. He was borrowing one tenth of the power a Preservation Emanator lent to the IPC (that's what the cornerstones are) And Acheron's two acts as an Emanator were more impressive than they might initially appear because the Dreamscapes are supposed to be able to prevent any kind of real damage or danger from existing (which is why damage from Aventurines GoB knockoff disappeared immediately) and she fucking tore a permanent hole through it.

Tldr Honkai Star Rail has a lot of very impressive feats that all happen off-screen and are conveyed to you via a really shitty visual novel format :skully

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

No, Aeons are bare minimum multi-galaxy level. It's just all buried in side quests and Simulated Universe lore you only get because you stepped sideways twice on a Sunday while wearing a yellow hat :catskully That and the series does an incredibly ass-backwards job of explaining its own cosmology. The worlds the Express visits aren't just separated by physical space, a lot of them exist in different realities. The series will just interchangeably refer to these realities as worlds, galaxies, and universes fucking willy nilly with no consistency though. Anyway, the actual fight between the Aeons that kill Tazzyronth destroyed more than one of these realities in the final clash alone iirc, and we know each of these realities can hold multiple star systems because in a not!Oppenheimer quest the IPC blew up twenty-seven star systems in a single activation of a super weapon. Which they mention as "approaching" the power of an Emanator. Actually iirc Nanook and Nous also figure it...

This isn't even an argument. The Phantom Thieves don't "imagine" their abilities do these things, they physically happen. The only reason they don't in some cases is because THERE IS AN EVIL REALITY WARPER TRYING TO FUCK THEM OVER Like you cannot argue for canon while completely ignoring every other entry in both Persona and SMT as well as P5's half dozen spin-off games that all directly contradict you.

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

This is not a thing. I cannot make this more abundantly clear The thing that you are saying is not applicable to Persona 5. That is not how Persona works, that is not how SMT works, and we have multiple whole-ass games dedicated to them doing the thing you are saying they cannot do. Before addressing this I once again emphasize that the situation you are describing does not apply to P5, but for the record a vs match between Kirito and Ippo would be between Kirito's game avatar and Ippo unless specifically stated otherwise by the OP of the thread. We literally have a rule about these types of match-ups, where a character whose power only exists in specific conditions automatically fulfills those conditions unless otherwise noted. Again, multiple whole-ass games. What part of this do you not understand.

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

There are several actual islands in the earth country region that are actually just spears Zhong Li threw at someone during the Big Offscreen War Also Venti threw a mountain into the ocean and Raiden sliced an island in half at one point. I stopped after Inazuma so those are the only ones I know

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

It's already been explained to you multiple times that the Thieves demonstrate their powers multiple times outside the Metaverse, that circumstances of the Bad Ending are controlled by the blatantly malicious reality warper in front of you at the time, and that the Persona and SMT series do not work the way you are describing. Still waiting for you to try to explain away the cat born from a Shadow who can talk like a human, btw
  18. CrossTheHorizon

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

The Persona 4 crew literally meet and fight with the Persona 3 crew in one of the spin-offs. And the P4 crew also meets and fights with the P5 crew. The games are equivalent. The Metaverse is an alternate reality that can seep into and affect reality if not restrained, and again the spin-offs repeatedly have the P5 crew demonstrate abilities equivalent to the P3 and P4 crew. No. The Bad Ending doesnt actually happen, because again the scenario can only possibly take place if Joker gets caught on purpose in a specific way to let the IRL police take him to Sae No, it means the evil reality warper Joker is recounting this to successfully gaslit him into killing himself via the same method he uses to erase you from reality later on. See above And this ruins your scenario since the Bad Ending cant happen because of this. Unless the evil reality warper you are telling the story to makes it happen No. The Metaverse is just the collected consciousness of humanity that got...

Also also why are we assuming the Phantom Thieves specifically are deprived of their powers when the scenario that kicked this all off is them against fucking Overlord, a video game verse. Ainz and Nazarick weren't "real" either till they ended up in a world that treats them like they are. The OP is pretty blatantly intending for it to be the Persona users against the Tomb, there's zero reason to assume their powers wouldn't apply in whatever battleground this takes place in unless you also want it to be a 30-40 something office worker and some pixels vs their human selves, since that's what Ainz and Nazarick are in "reality"
