Sort of. Most of the abilities comes from being able to hack other cyborgs (driving someone insane, mind-control, hacking skills, electrocution & more) so if the opponent isn't a cyborg/robot most of it wouldn't work. Non-cyborg powers include gravity manipulation (used by David and maybe aboard certain Arasaka space stations) and invisibility via optical camoflague (used by flying cars by a shadowy organization).
"Reject evidence in favour of this one headcanon I literally just made up." Yeah. They were always terrible, but they somehow just get worse and worse. I've seen the majority agree with 'arguments' which would have been mocked & ridiculed back in the day, but are now embraced. I think the people who do most of the pushback gave up to focus on something less futile.
https://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/the-dragonborn-skyrim-runs-the-modern-weapons-gauntlet.1156546/ Wait so let me get the jist of this. We should assume that magic is esoteric with nothing to do with power or energy and that the health bar represents a esoteric because "I made this up and is therefore somehow valid." But we should also ignore that all of the same can be applied to magicka, which also has an abstracted bar, and is referred to as being energy and power in literally every game since Arena.
The Shrike stabs them all to death. No time hax required. It then goes back and erases them from ever having existed in the first place, and nothing of value was lost.
SB will argue that a feat doesn't matter/never happened/is invalid because HARD SCIENCE one moment, then turn around and try and claim that basic cause and effect doesn't matter the next. It is painfully obvious that they don't actually give two fucks about science.
"Bethesda never would have intended this" Meanwhile the actual author intention as repeatedly stated by the devs; https://web.archive.org/web/20120323185903/http://nerdtrek.com/skyrim-details/ 6:06 0:17 29:20 https://www.ausgamers.com/features/read/3076322
This is all the truth... But it's also the truth that I've (and others) have posted these dozens, if not hundreds of times. And they still ignore them. So fuck SB.
I only watched S1 close to a decade ago (holy shit has it been that long?) so all I recall is Stars wand being able to destroy the Universe and reference to a multiverse, as well as an entity who kept time going forward.
Speaking of the Hommunculi and speed feats, Pride was able to reach Briggs in the North from Central. Has that ever been calced? :hm I noticed a few more reacting to bullet feats during my current rewatch BTW (the creature in Barry's true form does this; Ed does too, which I know has been calced).
