But calling it out at least will take the problem to the surface for other to see, even when they refuse to

I mean, why not? Thats an issue they have against Fate, why not call them out when they don't seem to find it an issue for other verse?

I specifically say "If Ippo imagine he can", he imagine he can. Doesn't mean he can. But it looks like you are saying if a character imagine they can do something that means they can. Like by your own logic Gojo just need to imagine he can destroy the universe and kill Salter and if he imagine that, that means he can destroy the universe and win vs Salter despite not having the power to make his imagination come true. I bet if someone use that argument vs you, you won't let it fly. ...Hypocrite. And you guys talk shit about SB. But ok, that checks out with the previous argument you guys are using. That being said that Salter thread sure is weird considering the conclusion are achieved since 1st page...Reminds me of that Alcides vs Nazarick thread.

No, those characters ability happens in real life in their respective series. SAO didn't, so the logic applies as well, Luffy vs Kirito is Luffy vs normal human. Way too miss the point. Do you all actually believe, if character A have abilities that only applies within their mind, vs char B they have to fight in-universe real life, that char A win because of abilities they can't use in the real fight?... Like if Ippo imagine he can use fist that breaks the universe, that means he win vs any one who can't break universe? Geez. Do you think Kirito will win against Hajime no Ippo? Like an average gamer physical build win vs a professional boxer? .-. This is even worse since PT don't have the ability to access metaverse anymore.

Thinking about it, if we are talking about gaslight, you guys are being gaslit that their power is real...When multiple proves they are not. Like legit at that point you might as well say a character can beat another character simply by imagining it despite not having power to make imagination comes true. Oh well, I already rest my case.

Yes we get arrested on purpose and it happens at the casino. There is a reason there is a cutscene specifically for that, even if you do everything for good ending. Both Bad Ending and Good Ending comes from that. No one is saying Metaverse can't enter real world, I am saying Metaverse isn't a real world. That's 2 different thing. This are all canonical facts we talked: Metaverse is a mental scape Persona 1~3 happens in real world Persona 4 happens in another world Persona 5 Persona happens in Metaverse and not real life. (Tactica seems to be different place though not Metaverse) Akechi shoot Joker in bad ending, and Joker dies The twist in good ending is that, Akechi shoot the cognitive Joker so he didn't die in good ending, this means the one at bad ending happens in real life Joker took gun shot from Akechi and die in bad ending but didn't die from multiple energy explosives in Metaverse We get arrested on purpose They arrest us after Sae's palace, at the casino The casino...

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

By the same logic, you also don't get any ending, since the arrest happens anyway. That is the reason why Sae even get to interrogate you, because you got arrested and got contacted by Futaba to save you. The bad and the good ending have the same opening, you got arrested in real life right after Casino which were at Metaverse, showing the phasing between Metaverse and Real Life, the casino then disappear afterwards...Well technically speaking it's disappear during. Ren even ask Sae "I am arrested at Casino, is there supposed to be any casino where I was arrested?" then she realizes, there is supposed to be none. Might as well say the entire story doesn't actually happen in the story. :facepalm You guys mock SB but really you guys are pretty much the same with how asinine the arguments are. Haah.

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

How does it defeats the point? If anything it further cements my point, the twist happens in Metaverse not in real life. Killing Cognitive Joker doesn't kill real Joker, that is literally the entire twist. What happens in Metaverse, doesn't directly affect physical world. Only when you fuse them, or when you kill someone's cognition of themselves it will affect, the first because of the fuse, the latter because it is their personal mental acknowledgement of themselves How are you not reading that? Akechi not realizing he got send inside metaverse doesn't mean he can use Loki in real world, or his Loki can hit someone in real life from Metaverse. So far none of you are giving valid argument, its literally just you guys not wanting to accept canonical facts. Crossthehorizon miss the point of the twist too.

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

The...Metaverse happens because Sae pulls switcheroo on you... So its not on metaverse... Without that Akechi didn't enter metaverse, so he did it on real life. Again, that is the reason it said "you lost your life". The whole plan twist is that Akechi shots the cognitive joker, not the real you. The bad ending, you lost your life, the real you die, you are the one who get shot, not the cognitive you.

Bruh their power doesn't work in real life. That is the point. This differs from saying Touma lost his Imagine Breaker. Imagine if someone say they can win against Coronzon by simply imagining they can, despite not having power to make their imagine come true by themselves. So let's say Matou Shinji meet To Aru's Coronzon and imagine beating her to death with abilities in his mind that he can't use in real life, does that means he beats her? Okay.

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

In the good ending it's the twist. In the bad ending its the real Joker...There is a reason it is bad ending you know... There is a reason it is stated you lost your life. It happens in real life in bad ending.

Strikers remove it again at the end. By gone, I mean its no longer accessible for them. Pretty sure they don't have the app anymore even after Strikers. They have to be thrown there or the world have to be fused with the Metaverse, and its no longer do. So, it's gone. Case in point, if you seems to not want to accept that Thieves are really just normal human. Joker in bad ending dies from a gunshot despite taking multiple explosive energies in metaverse lol.

Not sure how it is in Tactics, from what I read it didn't change what I said since they got transported to another world in Tactics? It is still mental scape, their power still only works inside that. We never see their power interract with real world without Metaverse. Outside of that, not only they can't use it, it is also never shown they interract with real world. Shadows can interract with real world even without Metaverse, older P shows this. Their Persona only works inside that mental scape. It's specifically imagination. This is even worse as Metaverse disappear and in real world they can't summon it in real world. Their real life capabilities are that of normal human at the end of the day.

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

They do, they always do. They got their power from there. P5 just isn't working like older P. Specifically, the thieves work on Metaverse which is created by the collective cognition and it is specifically a mental scape. It's not that the whole mechanic of P doesn't exist in P5, its more like P5 specifically doesn't follows it the way older P do. Older P is more "real". P1~P3 use their Persona and we see their Persona directly affect real world, and interract with real world. In P4, they are send to another dimension, and as far as TV world is concerned those are real things, and real physical human are directly involved. In P5, only the Thieves are physically involved, all things related to Metaverse, even the physical death are not physically interracted. They are mostly mental. The death from P5 are from killing the cognitive of one self, the removal of one's mental existence of one self. Their persona specifically doesn't interract with real world. They are imagination...

No, in P5 its specifically just mental scape. What you said may works in older P but not P5. In older P, Persona can affect in real world as well, in P5 its specifically mental thing. Yaldabaoth is not one of the P5 char's Persona, he just someone that beaten by P5 char's Persona. Persona can still affect real thing, like Persona of older P chars but not Persona of P5 chars, this is why I said older P are more real, and they are all Cognitions as well. P5 chars persona are specifically only work in Metaverse where it's just mental scape. P5 Thieves are normal human. And at the end of P5 Metaverse are gone.

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

Err...Idk if this is true for the rest but while he won't be able to defeat Chaldea or Goku, he can absolutely defeat Persona 5. Everyone seems to forget that in Persona 5 their power only works specifically in metaverse and its gone. Even then their power is quite literally imaginations. Previous Persona are more real than P5, P1~P3 happens in real world and P4 in technically different dimension. P5 happens quite literally inside mental scape called "Metaverse". This is why when there was a lot of P5 vs Servants I always facepalm. They are practically normal human. As much as I think Overlord got wanked too much, gotta give it to them there. Only 1 I am sure he can't defeat are Touhou, Chaldea, Goku... One Piece feels like its gonna be weird ass scaling debate again and I rather not think about that. If the others can't lose to Nazarick too I guess I agree overall with you then, only the P5 are the one I disagree.
