Yeah in the mini chapter at the end of Volume 2. After the big fight where Chloe befriends Shoggoth, the whole group goes out to celebrate with a big dinner courtesy of the Director Nyarlathotep. Spurred on by Dr West to drive the price up to stick it to Nyarla, the whole group proceeds to get shit faced drunk. Chloe then gets super horny, comes on to Shoggoth...and they wake up in bed together. I mean it's not specifically stated that they actually DID it (it actually states what really happened is an eternal mystery), but it certainly looks that way. Absolutely. That retcon (which people still to this day deny is a retcon for some reason) completely ruined what was a good villain (one of the few that Kishi still had) and he absolutely should have just stayed or at least died a villain. Which of course would build into one of the shittiest aspects of late Naruto as EVERY villain gets a forced redemption because they can't just be EVIL.

Yeah of course there ARE good edgy characters, they aren't all stupid or whiny leading to their edginess which is why those in his list are bad. It's the same as him conflating Optimism with Naivety as if they're the same thing. Obviously super Naive characters can be really frustrating, especially if said naivety is not treated as a flaw they need to grow out of (like with Judai in GX).
