    Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back It really raises the stakes by showing how much of a threat the Empire really was, bouncing back from losing the Death Star and nearly driving the Rebellion to the brink. Yoda is one of the best movie mentors and Darth Vader is at his best in this film. Luke vs Vader remains one of the best lightsaber duels in the franchise, from a storytelling standpoint.
