It's in the last few episodes of Volume 1. After Blake and Weiss have the argument about the White Fang and Blake gives herself away by yelling "Maybe we were just tired of being pushed around." Blake runs outside and takes off the bow she was using to cover her cat ears, at which point Sun is behind her (he's met her before this) and says "I knew you'd look better without the bow." She then hangs with him and they go together to investigate a meeting Torchwick was having with the White Fang (or something like that), leading to the final fight of the Volume. Not sure how the reviewers would have missed this, it's a big sequence for her character.

Eh there's the scene where he says "I knew you'd look better without the bow" that at least implies a physical attraction, rather than just being platonic like Blake and Yang's interactions were. I also remember her being willing to talk to him pretty quickly when she ran from the girls (including Yang notably). Sure you could chalk that up to him being a Faunus and therefore more likely to understand her issues, but she was on the run from the White Fang and other Faunus at the time so. :maybe Admittedly there still wasn't very much, but it's more than she ever had with Yang.

People in the comments going "we waited nine seasons for this". :kobeha No you didn't, considering it wasn't a real thing or even a possibility that was hinted at seriously until about Volume 5 or 6. Only delusional shippers thought it was a thing before that, despite Monty actively and obviously pushing Blake x Sun in early Volumes. That lot should thank Monty for dying, considering they damn well better know it would NEVER have happened if he didn't.

Yeah but that's more about the gameplay than the story, which is what I was referring to. My point was how well it worked as a super hero STORY, compared to the current flock of movies. Although I don't personally believe those segments "killed the game" although I would rather they not have been there.

It's really sad to me, as a fan of superhero stories, that I've gotten to the point where I just don't care about either the MCU or the DCU at this point. They're either too busy making fun of the genre they're in and not taking the material seriously, or they're too focused on being more realistic and edgy because otherwise "superheroes are too childish" and you can't take them seriously. It's even worse when you look at how good Spider-Man PS4 was. Like that game goes to show that the problem is not with superheroes or superhero stories in general. They obviously still work really well when they're done right, it's just the people making the movies clearly don't respect the source material at all. As it stands movie wise, I'm unironically more interested in seeing a move about an animated teenage kraken having a Kaiju battle with an evil parody version of Ariel. Just because (at least from the trailer) it looks like they're just doing the standard heroes' journey and embracing...

It's KIND of neat that all three of the recent Live Action Bruce Banner's are in the movie, although one of them isn't even playing a Hulk but still. Of course fanservice like that is exactly what they're banking on...while simultaneously shitting on the comic story by only using its name and nothing else. :smh Hulk's been too much of a joke in the MCU for too long for that story to even work at this point anyway.

How the fuck can you watch Naruto out of order, it's one continuous story that follows the same cast of characters This one's fair Not really? Especially if you are not familiar with the card game itself and how it works. DM definitely eases you into that the best, while the others expect you to have seen it. I also just wouldn't recommend watching GX without watching DM first due to the sheer amount of callbacks and direct appearances from previous characters like Yugi and Kaiba. Doubly so here because Oda likes to play the LONG game a lot and drops foreshadowing for things, sometimes hundreds of chapters before the actual payoff. Absolutely not. You don't get to see Ash develop as a character and would be confused any time he brings back a Pokemon from a previous region. In fairness I DID watch Z without ever having watched DB first, but that's not exactly recommended as there are a lot of things that would confuse you...

Of course Max with the shit taste as usual, being the only person I've seen react to this who doesn't like Lars' new outfit (which is easily one of the best in the game, along with Jin and Kazuya's).
