The game is...okay to watch but Damascus needs to get different commentators for it. Not only did these guys just jizz endlessly over CC and barely mention Mo.Sin even though he was winning most of the set. At least the Guilty Gear Strive commentators have the professionalism to focus ON THEIR GAME and don't keep trying to take pot-shots at DB Fighterz. Hate to break it to you fellas but (purely as a spectator) Fighterz is and always will be more interesting to watch than either Strive or Melty Blood. At least for me personally anyway.

Like this is part of why Infinity War is one of the best Marvel movies by far, they actually toned the jokes way the fuck down and allowed Thanos to be fucking terrifying as a result because the movie was for the most part, taking it seriously. Compare this to Hela in Thor Ragnarok who was completely ruined by the fact we couldn't take her seriously, specifically because they kept spewing jokes in every scene she's in. Even the one where the MAIN CHARACTER'S HOME PLANET IS DESTROYED. :hm Man of Steel was okay. I'd still have Winter Soldier, Infinity War and Iron Man above it.

Who cares how many jokes are in it? Pretty sure it's not meant to be a comedy. The guy above it's right, because we're infested with action movies that will keep pumping out jokes at all time weather or not it actually fits the story being told, people are getting used to that and giving shit to movies that don't do that. Now I haven't read Dune, haven't watched Dune and don't really give a shit about Dune, but just because a movie doesn't have jokes in it doesn't mean it's bad.

And the most anyone could ever muster up in its defense was "but look at the sets though, they like built a city and shit and the acting is good" Which just makes me feel bad because all that hard work was put into a terrible end product. At the end of the day, if your script is shit, there isn't much that's going to save you from the inevitable roasting. When something is actually threatening, he'll fight back regardless. It also hinges on the assumption a regular ass knife would be able to pierce his skin at all (rather than just break) when a steel beam broke against his body. Or some small ass gun high-schoolers in JAPAN would be able to get a hold of would pierce him, when he can take the explosion of Shrieker's leeches and only get a surface level burn (the wound was noted to be a burn and that's the only attack Shrieker had that could leave a wound like that). This is some ridiculous...

Sure it's just funny how many characters would be autistic by his standards. It makes me think of the first chapter of One Piece, Xelios must have agreed with Luffy when he gave Shanks shit for not fighting back. Shanks surely must be autistic, as opposed to just a decent human being who actually needs a good reason to fight before he'll take a man's head off.

Canon does not, nor has it ever meant superior. Yu-Gi-Oh DM's best arc is a filler arc. Two of Bleach's top three arcs are filler arcs. OG Bardock takes a steaming dump on his canon counterpart. When it comes to quality, canon or non-canon is completely irrelevant.
