I kind of feel that too, based off the webcomic I thought some of the S Class Heroes, and other characters like Garou, were going to get stronger so they could fight God and whatever he summons at the end of the series. But I do have the oddest feeling that Blast's team just exists to job to God. I think the funniest thing about all the crazy shit that's been happening in the manga, is that Boros still scales to Peak Garou. :skully And Garou still hasn't even started his fight with Saitama.
