Which is why everybody is just saying Garou is a hero and nobody thinks he's evil, including other heroes in the series. It's so bad that people are making predictions that Garou going to be corrupted by God, for him to even have a reason to fight Saitama right now. And that would be a great disservice to Garou's character. Also, despite Murata being an amazing artist he's not much of a writer, there's a reason why his one-shots never became series when he tried to go solo. Yeah, like I can buy Metal Bat getting a lot stronger because Sage beat the crap out of him and his Fightin Spirit boosted him But whatever the hell this is, their souls or Fightin Spirits linking and amping each other? I don't know about that man. Considering the only people I see defending the writing for the past two chapters have been fangirls that have Garou/Metal Bat profile pictures...

I feel like they rework the story so that the manga can end this arc or next arc, they made Garou much more of an anti-hero, they revealed that Sweet Mask was a monster, they made the relationship between Tatsumaki and Fubuki not toxic and abusive, hell they made Tatsumaki much nicer and be able to work with other Heroes, Genos is so much stronger, they revealed fucking Blast and been having "God" appearing everywhere and fucking around with everything. This arc started with Garou, moved to the Monster Association, and should of moved back to Garou if this was like the webcomic but it looks like we're moving to God instead.

The manga gets rid of every last bit of subtlety that the webcomic had, Garou was brutal and at least acted evil up until his fight with Darkshine, but ever since he woke up on the surface he doesn't even show his hatred for heroes anymore, where he would beat the crap out of him. Hell when flashy flash was losing his cool and caring more about being the fastest, it was Platinum Sperm that criticized him. Why the hell with Platinum care? This is something Garou should say

They are not even pretending that Garou is evil anymore, it is so bad that you don't even know why Garou would have a reason to fight Saitama now. These tweets summed it up best
