The worst part is rejects on Steam and other places trying to say that the people pointing this out(the blackwashing of Greek mythos, when they could just make an african mythos game instead) are the problem(the usual retards) with one dumbass in particular calling himself Greek, and then having the audacity to say that because of roman shit, Hestia's design is actual true to form(said this while providing zero proof of this 'well-fed Hestia' as he called her, because she doesn't exist within any roman imagery I know of, and it speaks volumes he had to dip into that because he damn sure knew the Greeks never depicted her, or any goddess as a fat bitch), including her dark skin, to that of a Greek, which instantly let me know that dipshit wasn't a Greek and is absolutely a fraud. Man's even brought up Greece being a stone's throw from Africa as an argument to Greeks naturally being dark-skinned, which got an eye-roll from me. She is the goddess of the hearth, home and family, so technically speaking, her domains, for the ancient greeks, would've made her the ultimate house wife. She didn't want to be anybody's wife, though. She wanted to be a virgin forever(honestly, given how a lot of greek marriages go for the gods, and how relationships tended to go for her main two suitors, can't blame her :kobeha ), so Zeus decreed it so, effectively slamming down any would-be suitors.(With the exception of Priapus, who had to learn the hard way not to fuck around to find out, when it came to trying anything on Hestia, but that was more of a roman myth, than a Greek one.)

This is the same studio that managed to do Nyx fine as fuck, but couldn't give the same treatment to the Goddess of the hearth, home and family? Disgusting. If Hera isn't in the game yet, I'm not expecting good things for her now. With what I've just seen, and the BS they're apparently making up for Hephaestus, they'll probably ignore all the poets that have said she's either the most beautiful of all goddesses, or of comparable beauty to Aphrodite(on par, or just slightly below), even if the latter herself doesn't acknowledge it. :wow

It is in early access, but the designs I spoke of are clearly far more complete than the tumblr-esque ones you just saw on the Twitter thread. Ain't no way we're getting a better Hestia design. We're likely stuck with that one for the Hades-verse, and that pains my soul, despite not being an actual Greek. :wow @Atem do you have the same disgust seeing the Hestia design, as I do?

Enjoyed the first hour of gameplay, but I'll say this about the designs I've seen thus far(the new characters): Nemesis, I don't mind too much. Melinoe is nice. Hekate is unique, at least, though a pure sorceress having abs like that is comical. Apollo could do with a lighter skin tone. Lad should be more of a light bronze at most, rather than dark. Otherwise alright enough, but could do with some added touches. Hestia is... fucking ugly beyond belief. They turned my girl into an extra plus-sized 'model' with the usual 'representation' up the ass. Trash-tier design, and disrespectful as fuck to Greek Myth. Ain't no fucking way Poseidon and Apollo both would've wanted to tap that and marry it, at some point, get the fuck out of here. Odysseus? He looks alright, I guess.(could be better, though.) Is Hera in this game? If so, I seriously hope they didn't give her the same nanny treatment they gave Demeter. :wow

The only sin on Roman's run was it was too long in the tooth. They dragged it unnecessarily(They also fed LA Knight to him, when they didn't need to. Fuck you HHH for that.). At least they gave the Faces moments against him though. HHH's, meanwhile, was pure cancer. Only outdone by the Super Cena era, where John buried niggas and their finishers left and right. So long as Cena was around then, you could never have a credible heel(or Face, because if you were more over than John, which wasn't hard, they stuck him with you for a bit, and then, nine times out of ten, would turn you heel soon after, so you could get fed to him), because you knew, as soon as they were in a feud with Cena, he would devalue the fuck out of their stocks. :wow
