I only ever watch some to get a run down on what is airing at the moment and see what the buzz is. I don't care much for their opinion or to watch more than what I need.

Nowadays, back than it was more even and if anything Comics, which have been around longer than Manga, had the better art and choreography usually with guys like Kirby, Ditko, and others being renowned for all the effort they put into their fight scenes to the point I heard even guys like Toriyama were inspired by Kirby when making Dragon Ball. It's around the 80s and later you started seeing Manga get better at fights scenes which is where series like DB first started getting published and why the 80s and early 90s were such a crucial time for Shonen manga because so many series made around that time became big for their fun story lines and fight scenes that were more common in more series thanks to the success of others like Kinnikuman, FOTNS, JJBA and of course, Dragon Ball. Sure you had some that were good before but before the 80s it was not as even as you would think, and even past the 90s and into the 2000s it was more even until the 2010s came around and Comics as a whole...

Bull. Just the two examples Xho showed says otherwise and there are plenty of examples from Jack Kirby and other older artists that did go to great lengths to show good choreography. It's not like every single fucking Shonen had great choreography either, plenty of times they were just as bland or stiff as the worse comics had. It's worse nowadays like almost anything to do with comics due to crappy artists and people not giving a fuck.

I find both work to their own strengths that makes them distinct enough to hold them both in high regard. T1 I felt did the horror and dark atmosphere bits better where as T2 had better action scenes. I can see why T1 is better enjoyed as an adult while T2 would be better enjoyed as a kid.

I feel like it is even TBF. People still say TLJ is the worst and things like that as much as they do ROS so it comes off as people struggling to decide which is worse. While I think they are both arguably the worst SW films I would say TFA deserve condemnation for "setting up" the crappy storylines to begin with because despite how much it's apologists say it was ruined by the next two, it had a lot of stupid plot points and terrible pacing and issues of it's own that were only made worse by the other two because it was where they started to begin with.

I was thinking more of a renegade Templar concealing his true identity sometime after the disbanding of the Order by King Philip where he is just wondering around 1300s Europe in a manner similar to how Yojimbo and the Man With No Name went around their respective places encountering opportunity for some wealth to buy him some food and comfort to live and eventually help the plight of whatever village or town he is occupying for the moment.

Knights in my opinion are underrated and are almost never used properly or have their equivalents to the type of films that Cowboys and Samurai have. I wish someone would make a Yojimbo/Fistful of Dollars film involving a Knight Errant.

Samurai are the most overrated warriors of all time and even the fictional ones usually look boring because they don't even use that sick ass armor they were historically known for and instead it's almost nothing but bath robes (or kimonos or whatever).

I would agree with the D'arby and Dio fights being better, but disagree with N'doul as I thought the OVA overextended it, though I preferred the final clash and N'doul's speech in the OVA over the Anime. Vanilla Ice fight was butchered in the OVA and is where the Anime trounces it the most in comparison, Kakyoin did have a cooler intro than he did in the anime tho. The later 2000's OVA was much worse than the Anime because of it's much more dated and stiff early digital animation compared to the David Pro Anime and the only thing I liked about it better than the 2014 versions were the one scene where Jotaro beats up those Zombies trying to ambush them against Enyaba and the way it handled J Gail's death by making it look unheroic even if deserved for being an evil bastard.

Speaking of another long running popular series I do not care for, Pokémon. I stopped watching the anime in my teens and only played one game that I found lost in a chuck e cheese which I never really understood how to play but messed around with it until I lost even that and never bothered to go back to the series to this very day. And while I also stopped watching it past my teens, Digimon>>>Pokemon on the sheer fact the eng op was cooler than the one for Pokemon and I just thought the Digimon were cooler looking than the Pokemon.
