Anime peaked in the late 90's or at the lastest in the early 2000's and since then it's been kinda stuck in a rut (with some notable exceptions). Nowadays, there's so much more of it coming out , and due to it's mass production , each individual show doesn't really get the attention and effort that it requires and as a consequence most of the shows look cheap and uninspired . There are other problems, like the general pacing of things have been sped up to a bad degree and it feels like there isn't any time to allow things to properly build up and allow the viewer to sit with it. The list can go on, but the point is, it's most likely not gonna get any better.

Lego games in general are genuinely good, well designed video games that niggas don't take seriously unfortunately.

Definetly, purely from an design perspective, Extra is still my favorite. Li, Blackmore, Saver , Rob had good designs.

Koyama , Sakamoto and Kususaga have genuinely great fucking art but at least with the last two , the animes don't even try to do them justice which is a fucking shame. On the other hand, Wada's designs are almost always misses for me but i guess her art is not my cup of tea.

Yeah, FGO's diversity of artists is both an advantage or a disadvantage cause everyone can find at least one or two character designs that they like whilst also finding designs that are garbo , cause let's be honest, it has both. Takeuchi as much as people meme on him for just showing up to draw Saber and going home has evolved a lot ( again, look at the OG Tsukihime and compare it to the new one) and his characters are genuinely well designed and while there are alot of samefaces , he kinda finds ways to make them stand out in other ways .

I always see people giving shit to TM in general for the porn/rape stuff, but i never see people giving credit to TM for moving away from it since. Like just make a comparsion between present Tsuki and past Tsuki. Shit has changed a lot in 20 years. And yeah, TM started as a Doujin company , which is an industry by itself so no wonder they had to make those decisions to stay afloat.

That's funny considering there's a shitload of artists that have worked or are working on it rn. Are they all bland ? If no, which ones ? That's fair . I'm curious , how many series have you watched/read/played ? It better be most of them if you're confident enough to make this generalization.

Anime today is heading in the wrong direction where they're trying to make them as close as possible to a PS 2/3 cutscene. I vastly prefer the 80/90's animation and overall design.

Oh forgot about these. FF9 is the best FF. FF XVI doesn't look good.
