Or at least we should have had a formalized process of having "secondary lynch", but town was not disciplined enough for this. I actually agree keeping SK around is bad in most scenarios, but I think Xenos as a player was going to be pretty amenable in his position. The real problem was just a lack of giving a shit. I personally feel Lynchproof scum under almost any circumstance I feel should be out of the scope of what's considered a "ranked" game, even with caviets, and especially with the numbers being what they were. It's one thing in role madness game where many many tools exists besides the lynch but the good old noose should always reign supreme in the true spirit of the game. Chat invites?

I can kinda see your point from a general perspective of his play mind you but scum Ratchet does not lack the capacity to push literally anyone else but town Poyser. By his own admission he made an intentionally slimey divert onto Rugrat for distancing purposes. Anyway my point wasn't even being made against you to dab on you after you died it was in light of your assumption that the rest of your reads were correct. See: This was what I was really driving at: Your very assumption that scum Ratchet could have pushed you and didn't defies the rest of your game view that scum were in what was the PoE at the time. Because if by your own admission your Bus Drive claim isn't 100% absolving and he also needs to see you over to help win, his lack of doing so clearly means he has other options, and that was in fact the case!

I mean that from the onset he knows you're town and he has more than you to mislynch so he's always entering your push with the prior knowledge he's not going to see it through and even if he did he'd face negative consequences? You're basically saying he could do nothing but seethe and cope once he failed to get you which is a very centric perspective. I even had my reservations about his cases put forth but you were saying he had no other recourse after failing to set up you which is ridiculous. You probably made some good points throughout the day in hindsight but I think here you had a good lead but filled in the gaps with angles like this which seem like overextending.

Perhaps not in totality but the one you left at the end of day showed a blatant lack of self awareness of your own position in the game - Ratchet isn't hinging the success of his scum play on lynching town's heaviest hitter. He got a claim from you and moved on. You implied he had no recourse after being wrong on you which is absolutely silly to assume from any mafia at any skill level much less his.

My biggest hangup with you was your lack of follow up on the very cases you presented, and failing to follow threads of logic that you should have from your own perspective, like how you were following along with what Rugrat was doing or saying very easily. I'm challenging you to form an argument from your own perspective that isn't "bad" or "easily dismissible", because I constantly get this criticism from you and I think my compounding angles correctly led to me scum reading you and it wasn't just pure chance or luck or anything.

No, I maintain your arguments were bad, at least as presented. He definitely didn't "need" you to go in any capacity, the argument that he was trying to see through your lynch and had no recourse was just plain wrong. I have lots of experience playing with Ratchet and your profile of his scum play mismatched your presentation. I came around fairly quickly to scum reading him for my own reasons.

It is a pretty nonstandard role. I think the only real clue was the observation TAT made earlier which Poyser dismissed out of hand but actually was retroactively pretty sound. I think people give far much undue consideration to roleshit and set up assumptions but that's a really really good one, because it was explicitly confirmed by the host.

To be fair, as town there are arguments I am aware I can't make because I'd just be ignored or aren't sufficiently persuasive. I considered you/Rugrat not likely, but I wasn't as certain on Lethal being town as I was letting on. I was also getting badly worn down by just the cumulative load of shit between you guys/bad town so I didn't have all the room to have a proper back and forth. But I'm also curious to hear from you what constitutes a "proper" reason to scum read you.

This was pure outplay. Even in an alternative game where we put a couple on the board it's still a loss. OLU/Goth/Dalton/Phenom were all town. X shot fucking Poyser and Fang. Was over before it began.

I don't feel like I did badly but definitely made some "fuck it" calls due to attrition. Could see what was on the horizon and what I had to work with. I wanted to cook but I didn't even have the ingredients, let alone a kitchen. I was a hobo digging through scraps you guys threw out. :dead:
