    Anything NASA sends offworld and back is meticulously sterilised in case we contaminate any alien environment with our own single celled life and vice versa. However now that space exploration is largely a private endeavour we can't be sure if these procedures are followed to the necessary extreme. What I'm saying is the more space travel becomes common for humanity the larger the chance of catching a space germ becomes, no matter if any exist in our solar system at this point in time.
