Gothic 1 and 2 Morrowind and Oblivion Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines Not really RPGs but have RPG elements: System Shock 2 Deus Ex Dark Messiah As you can see I can't say pure RPGs are my thing, I much rather have a game that relies on atmosphere and gameplay to give players agency. In that sense Gothic 1 and 2 are my favourite RPGs, you can literally break the game without a single cheat or engine/glitch exploits just relying on your knowledge of mechanics and being a general ass to enemies and sometimes allies, a game that makes you think like your ass is really in danger and you need to adapt to the world rather than the world adapting to you is what I consider roleplaying as in playing someone you are not in a place you will never be, you know playing a role.
