It's what gets me the most when people go on and on about how "Workrate Matches are the best" or "Blood and Hardcore made the Attitude Era" and they completely miss the elephant in the room. What made The Attitude Era great... was the storylines. What made Stone Cold huge? The fact that people can see and agree with someone who despises an unruly boss and actually beat his ass and still mouth off regardless of the odds. The Rock and Sock Connection? The fact that 2 people who genuinely despise each other... can surprisingly become friends over consistent weirdness forcing them to constantly tag team with each other. Triple H? The fact that we see him become the Cerebral Assassin and consistently fuck with everyone he's with. This is what makes wrestlers huge, this is what made Hulk Hogan Scoop Slamming Andre so goddamned electric? The fact that people actually think that AEW not being able to build wrestlers, not build stars and just keep doing "Dream Matches" legit shows they...

Seriously, AEWtards constantly flock to the "Neverending storyline" of whether or not Hangman Page would ever be friends with the Black Order again as if it's a literal storyline and not something they just go back to every few months to remind us that it still exists. Had him pair with The Judgment Day, be an absolute shit heel to Rey Mysterio for MONTHS(I remember the first video package he did with Rhea... at Thanksgiving) to finally culminate in Wrestlemania. A simple feud with heat for a long time with not much needed to be done to get people this hot past Dominick playing the absolute shitheel and Rey slowly but surely breaking from the strain. It truly shows incompetence when AEW can't even do this right.

The right amount of buildup, constant teasing but don't blow it too early... and then BOOM! Make that payoff fucking worth it with an absolute shit of a heel. Absolutely fucking perfect.

Honestly, he's the reverse of Kishimoto: The Females actually have characters, goals and wants... but then they are either sidelined hardcore, given bullshit reasons to do something or just killed off because "Shit, I need stakes in my story" Lady Nagant is a less fucked over EMIYA, Star and Stripe is literally the "All-Might of America" and Mirko was a G and you can basically see how bad despite all of their premises are, Hori still had one get fucking sidelined until she suddenly shows back up to be a minor nuisance, another is dead because Hori written himself into a corner and her dying act was immediately made useless and Mirko is a fucking nugget now.

I don't really understand how this isn't number 1 considering the entire series isn't really a series. Each story is barely connected to any other story and is virtually standalone. Unless you want to deep dive into the lore, you really don't need to do any of that.

I actually fully remember the feud and it was the same shit from WWE with the Interim Champion vs. the Real Champion except for some insane reason, Moxley wanted to do a Rocky III style arc that would only work for 2 weeks since the PPV is after that which makes zero sense and Tony of all times wanted to go through with this. No one had any brains, no idea what they are doing and it's honest to god am happy Moxley left the WWE. Stone Cold was right about him, Seth Rollins is right about Punk, congrats Tony Khan you got 2 dumbasses and got them constantly taking money from fucking nothing.

Honestly, I never understood the "Saitama being a badass" deal considering how nothing he does is badass whatsoever. He normally acts the way he does because he's extremely disconnected in Humanity in his ideal to be the strongest ever and consequently completely bored out of his skull even when he can remedy that by NOT being a Hero. I mean let's be real here: The latest One Piece movie is just seeing Shanks and crew actually fight and a bit of how Gear 5 Luffy will look animated and Naruto and Sasuke's final battle has absolutely no substance in it due to how hard Kishimoto drew it out and how it basically turns into a DBZ battle at the start. I would STILL take the latest One Piece movie as it still has some of One Piece's original DNA in it though.
