I really should stop playing octopath shit is pure bullshit. only played it for nier in the first place Currently at war with one of the king. Plot decided we do a surprise attack. Of course considering how predictable shit is the opposing kingdom also block the path we were suppose to do our surprise attack. Absolute bullshit we are limited to a single point for a surprise attack when traveler has the ability to fucking teleport to any destination we already have access too. And the opposing kingdom has always faster mobility and plans better than our own side seriously shit is bad writing as fuck.

yea that's how it should have been but Seed Destiny writer was so ass they forgot a lot of shit or didn't even bother to realign the series with the original so we got the shit we got. Seriously Shin wasn't bad until he got turned into that droned shit by the end where he literally just a dumbass kira shouting wrecked. Early Destiny Shinn was actually fighting smart where sacrificing his impulse body parts is a strategy considering how easy he can replace and reattach them even if his gundam is literally inferior.

why is the extra character side quest for this game is me 3rd wheeling on their fucking romantic endeavor. :drake dude I don't need to care about your love life as a quest. Seriously 3rd character I need to do quest just to approach their romantic interest. Is there no better content for this shit octopath. And I literally have minimal interaction other than listening on how they fail to be ready for it. :eksip so quest is literally walking back and forth 3 to 4 times until the story is complete.

Yea, you have interaction and they do acknowledge you exist but that's about it, At most your character is just there to be a quest doer, Your impact in the story is so minimal you can't even go and save a dude getting stabbed right in front of you. Which has happened multiple times. Seriously I hate taking L's I know my character has 100% the ability to prevent and Octopath is just doing that in almost every arc.
