Astro Bot is basically what I wanted Crash 4 to be, both in terms of challenge and also being more 3D
Shit, the time powers in that game basically work like in Crash 4 too
And yeah, I just didn’t like the Toys for Bob redesigns. Just felt like a downgrade all around. Defiantly preferred what VV did where they made the designs for each character closely resemble the concept art from Joe Pearson, Charles Zembillas, and Bob Rafei
As for Tawna, she woulda looked alright and her gameplay was fun but the ugly mohawk and blue hair dye combo ruined it.
The real reason I dislike her is that she’s an alt-universe counterpart instead of the actual Tawna, killing any possible reason for the original Tawna to be in the game now
And just after CTR Nitro Fueled was giving her some really cool, added personality as well
Hard to believe we've missed out a respect thread weeks back (at least lack of speed feats is made up with being able to react while piloting the Dual Speeder, and ice/electricity resistances from interactions with other Bots).

Just did Thrust or Bust now since the new DLC is dropping tomorrow. Damn, what a difficulty spike it was to the last one. Took me over 10 tries to finally get it
Guess this was the developers finally responding to folks like me that wanted to see more challenging levels since as a whole, Astro Bot not all that demanding and pretty balanced as far as platformers go
Nebulax ripping apart the PS5 mothership in a opening scene could arguably get impressive, as he damaged the SSD which contains a starry realm inside it (which even has few/manynebulas and a black hole). And as far as we've seen boss fights, Astro can easily harm/hurt him. (as if surviving that explosion wasn't enough)
