Bleach: Feats and Discussion Thread

Unironically, it wouldn't really change much since all it really means is that Yhwach would find doing the equivalent of sealing Aizen too much of a hassle.

So again, Aizen is only as strong as he is due to his immortality at this stage when against the Top Tiers.
 
Basically going through the FV Bleach Klub Outside thread as I barely caught up with it(Especially as I tend to miss their big shit like Shutara really does know Mayuri as she was a Squad 12 Captain Pre-Hikifune and her getting selected is the reason Mayuri went to the Maggot's Nest)... and we get confirmed what we kinda knew already but it's better just having it be stated outright.



Yeah, it says the way his Blut Vene patterns goes over his face and the Reishi wings are a display of a power fit for someone who is meant to be Yhwach’s successor. Also, that this fight has many cuts that represents Uryu’s “power awakening”.

The fight between Uryu and Ichigo was added to this episode as an additional scene. The action of drawing a Reishi bow in the air and shooting arrows at close range, as well as using the "Licht Regen" without a bow, and Uryu's Quincy Vollständig, which was foreshadowed in the fight against Senjumaru in Episode #27, were all designed by Kubo-sensei specifically for this battle. In addition to the action packed with highlights, we have focused on portraying the two characters in "conflict/rivalry", including the exchange of words, expressions of conflict, and "unspoken true intentions". So basically Opie is correct and basically the Shutara fight and the fight with Ichigo confirms that Uryu's power has officially awakened. So yeah, Uryu is basically becoming Yhwach's successor in a general and literal sense and it seems that Yhwach really did scout Uryu for that purpose on top of him not dying to Auschwalen like he was supposed to.

Seems like there won't be any changes for the Mayuri fight. Kind of a shame, i wanted Pernida to go VS
 
Again, no actual genuine change in the episode between Shunsui and Lille(though it is explained further that he did in fact open his eyes 2 times to avoid getting cut down by Shunsui) but we did get an interesting look into Ichigo vs. Askin:

So basically, we get that Askin actually DID try and reiatsu poison Ichigo... only for it to fail because of his training by Ichibei. Meaning it gives alot more credence to why Ichigo was only unable to move when hit by Gift Pool vs. Everyone else who was virtually hacking up a kidney or near death's door in the manga.
 
Wonder if we'll still get The Carpet tm or if Ichigo is just gonna be completely inmune from now on

It would be kinda odd if he just added this extra info tidbit only to do the same shit as the manga again
 
Shinji gets a decent feat vs giant Gerard

Uryu also fights Ichigo for a while without Sklaverei, so guess further confirmation Renji and co scale to top tier stuff
 
While people are going crazy over the World's sky being changed out, I don't think it's anything different than Shutara's full power being unleashed outside of the fact that it's showing just how Soul King Yhwach is fucking with the 3 Worlds and how much being the lynchpin can mean for it.

And hell honestly? I fully remember the "pattern" the sky takes for what is in the middle of the Soul King's Palace itself. If anything, it further downplays the "Multiversal" aspect people keep lying about and even potentially that the sky of the WoTL is ultimately false so to speak.
 
It could easily be just the planet's atmosphere breaking

No reason to think it's anything more for now. At most you could say it was also affecting HM's moon

askin, the same gai who easily rivals yoruichi in speed, was running away from grimmjow, not cuz of his gimmick, he knew grimmjow was superior to him, at all stats, and had to use his poison ball, and took advantage of grimmjows large kitty instincts, what i mean, tigers, panthers, etc, they will never run away from an attack, no matter how dif shaped the opponent is, and will strike first, askin used his brain in this fight, and took advantage of this, theres a reason, later, only grimmjow will oneshot askin, it aint only the hollow part, he has way better striking power than urahara and yoruichi

after all, he had oneslashed quilge too, quilge even on his final round, had more than enough power, to solo all of the espada, and grimmjow still oneslashed him, and now the most important part, post-rg training ichigo, taking a fighting stance, and being alert on grimmjow's sword shockwave, ichigo at this point, is at his best and only takes opponents like ishida, seriously, the rest nah, even renji, he doesnt care, meanwhile, the moment grimmjow appeared, he did what he did, if grimmjow was weaker, ichigo wouldnt even pay attention to him, but ichigo took the fighting stance, was ready to fight him, cuz he sensed his power, his upgraded power

i give a proper reasoning for this, i go by the anime and the manga facts, so simple, i aint saying grimmjow is top 5 bleach chars in power, but he is part of the physically strongest chars = high tiers, easily
  • if u think lille aint there, u trippin, his hax especially in his final form would end shutara in a min
  • bankai shunsui, via hax
  • bazz-b's dura is there too, cuz he took several dangerous slashes from a semi serious jugram and still stood up, cuz of his willpower, and reacted to him, few times, out of instinct, at the lowest, he at least multi continental+ levels, but his dura is def low planet levels


in the next season, it gonna be gerard, adult toshi, bya with his full power tech and incomplete bankai zaraki, final form askin, urahara, etc



ps: its crazy that yoruichi's lil bro, despite aint part of the planet level tier chars (unless the anime changes it), he still will reach at least continental+ levels, cuz of the anime upgrades
 
That depends entirely on how big one thinks the three realms are.

Technically speaking though, even if all of them are the sizes of universes (Hueco Mundo certainly is not), Senjumaru's feat of shaking the three realms wouldn't actually add up to being "universal" in strength, obviously (unless we get a statement saying that Royal Guard members can outright destroy the three realms with their power).

And Yhwach's feat of collapsing the worlds isn't exactly equivalent to outright destruction last I checked, so there's that as well.

Basically, we get more proof that The World of The Living's Sky is "false" as it displays the patterns of the area we see in Episode 2 of Cour 3 when Yhwach knocks Ichigo through the Soul Palace.
People think that it's somehow Universal because when Yhwach is sleeping, the sky changes into that for a bit and the ground in HM starts breaking here and there.
 
Been kinda lazy checking on Kubo's Klub Outside but there is legit a good one that confirms the obvious but actually lays it down well:

Q: Shinigami have reiatsu vents on their wrists that if closed off would result in the individual being burned from the inside. However, let’s say they aren’t closed off like how Urahara did but instead the person loses both of their arms, do they still burn from the inside out? Also, for those that end up one-armed like Yamamoto Genryūsai Shigekuni, what kind of negative effects will that have when it comes to reiatsu and such?
Kubo: When losing an arm, the cut section becomes the vent exit. However, reiatsu manipulation becomes extremely difficult. That’s the reason why Yhwach was criticizing him for not healing his arm.

TL;DR Yamamoto obviously got weaker losing his arm... but that's because he cannot manipulate Reiatsu anywhere near as well in the process. So nice to know that yeah, losing limbs is a huge deal outside of the obvious ones.

This also explains how Grimmjow was weakened to the point that he lost his position as Espada Number 6 despite seemingly having the same performance.

yes. now we talkin, this pmuch what was i saying and i was correct, a long time ago, when i had said, how impressive one armed and badly damaged rankless grimmjow performed against masked shinji, with the surviving and hitting way above his weight class stuff i had mentioned

not bad, thats actually good stuff, which confirms most of our convos
