that's something i was known for doing too, and i'm pretty sure it's impossible in this game
everyone is vanilla, random alignments, so there's no reason to expect him to do it here tbh lol

she did teeter on some of those reads. i didn't really make a mental note on how she approached illwei's slot. is she usually more proactive as town do you think? she's kind of been sitting in the bg afaik

for sig my position hadn't changed. you have equal chances of him flipping town or scum. alot of it is because he simply doesn't have strong thread playland it gets him in a lot of heat. that said he wouldn't be my choice for a lynch today. too high risk as he can go either way.
i will say i haven't seen what i have been looking for from the getgo which is flavor talk or some mild setup spec. i feel it's relevant bc he pulls his weight through those aspects of games because he feels confident in his ability to do so. he's more in the background of all the action as town but he will go out of his way to say XYZ character does this and that or "this host may do that, it's relevant/irrelevant"

Illwei is... usually more proactive as town me thinks. This is why I have had misgivings of her since today. If I am wrong on OLU/GAD, then she would be my third pick as of now, even though I ended up town reading her in my solve post. But I also know that she's busy irl, so I am giving her time to make her own space in the thread.

Regarding Sig, I think thats valid. His posts alone makes me want to yeet him into the sun. But. I do not think scum!Hime would act like that on her inactive partner. She would not send someone else to case and push him. She'd do it herself and way more assertive to gain cred imo tbh, because thats how wolves usually play around bussing their teammates ime. They go for the most profitable play, and if Sigis flipped wolf on D1 or D2, Hime would've got no profit tbh

i have played for like 12 years and I have never seen any mountainous game where flavour matters
i have played in one where the players thought it mattered tho tbh.

the majority of us are not used to mountainous setups and they're a rarity around here
and some of us like gad and i are low-key amnesiacs

this confusion probably would happen less if mountainous setups happened here more often

we kinda just live on autopilot until one of us gets violently buttfucked back into reality

okay this is just my bias peeking through then

im incredibly picky with flavor and it matching to a T bc i find staying true to the source material makes for a more entertaining game (im in the works of hosting one soon)
Im self absorbed so when i see flavor is irrelevant i die inside tbqh. objectively it's true most hosts make sure flavor isn't solvable so
im off in my own world

hmm that's a fair point in regards to sig

im willing to give some leniency to illwei if she's legitimately busy. performance suffers when irl takes priority and it's NAI for most players IME
ill have to ISO himes interactions with her later tho

in my homesite, flavour almost always mattered, like 9 out of 10 times in games. But thats because we played a different format of mafia and flavour was revealed in the OP of the signup thread tbh

mountainous... is just mountainous tbh. If flavour mattered, it wouldnt be mountainous tbh
