Game Ranked Bleach Mafia (Prod Test Game)

think its very possible hime quit fighting because the players set up for yeet after her r town (gad/boq)

gonna scrape the rest of the barrel looks like

@Tempest ur up ol fren
I just don't think that's quite it

Like it's very demotivating as a wolf to be the planned lynch in a maj only game and to have been up at l-2 as early as she was prob meant that she didn't want to spew anything too bad on who her teammates were yesterday

btw i feel like reducing my change of read on GAD to "lmao i remembered a scum tactic" is kinda misrepping the thought process I had with Gad-Hime.

no i agree about that part, i just thought it wud be sigis (jaguar) and not OLU
but either or fits. just dont think she'd put both in the same tier so gonn asafely say both OLU/sigis arent mafia aligned

this whole interaction more or less doesnt seem partnered to me, u can click the arrow to go to the respective page number and read it with more context. the interaction was cut short because illwei started responding to ultra instead of hime as he was questioning her.

interested in your interpretation of this since you know illwei more than i do, but given that she said she doesnt bus her teammates and the fact that you took no issues with that statement of hers, gonna assume it's true, right?
Alright fair tbh. What do you think of my reasoning to town read Sigis regarding that? That Hime pushed him way more, but also tried to encourage Illwei to go for him. Imo these are my two strongest reasons to town read both of Illwei and Sigis when it comes to spew.

mmmh yeah, like, my gth reaction reading Hime-Illwei was read it as scum-town. It is how Hime phrases her reason to town read Illwei that feels sorta forced, or awkward.

@Boquise do u normally consider questioning town reads a townie thing?
it depends on how they approach it. Like, it is very hard to explain it to other people.

A good summary is that town are intolerant towards "weird reads" whereas scum doesnt really care/know it comes from town so arent thinking about approaching it aggressively. Ime scum is more like, dissuading/discrediting by just calling the read or progression fake, or tries to be helpful and "understand" the process. It is a sort of psychological thing that scum, at the end of the day, know that they are incorrect with sussing a town's town read (especially if it is town on town) so it becomes more challenging for them to go for it/they are less intuitiative with which posts to discourage. Town on the other hand does not have a psychological barrier when approaching things. Anything could be scum.

Like, out of say, 100 town games, I will be more often scum read by town than scum when I establish reads too quickly. Because town thinks thats odd and are (probably unconsciously) projecting themselves onto that player. "I am town and cant see anything worthwhile with that post, therefore that player is BSing". This is especially true amongst town who feel like you need to do grand reads with lots of text for them to count/be valid. Out of 100 games, I am more pushed by wolves if I am too slow with my reads/struggling to establish them, since scum usually regard that as an easy weakness to exploit tbh

@Illwei how much of a dirty busser/distancer is boq?
I only bus if it is necessary tbh
I can distance tho. But I very rarely go for it. I am a profit-minded wolf. I do what I think will gain me the most profit tbh

So to look at my approach with Hime.
My first post on D2 directed to Hime is self-defeating if the plan was "kill Ultra and bus Hime to gain cred" because it was a sorta fence-sitting back and forth post. As you pointed out yesterday, I did not push Hime strongly, and thats the main difference. If my plan as a wolf is to do friendly fire and lynch Hime, then I want maximum profit and make it definite (it is also way easier to case your own scum mate than town... since you know youre correct).

If my plan was to just distance from Hime but go elsewhere, then I failed spectacularly because I never unvoted her, even when I had the chance. Nor did I care for Watson's town read on Hime's aggression. Or Hime's responses. So clearly, my plan couldnt be "just distance", it has to be "bus", based on what happened, since I failed to exploit the moments where she couldve been protected. Compare that to with my scum game with Ultra where we hard distanced from each other, attacked each other, never really wanted each other to flip but if that'd happen we'd profit from it.

So in a me!wolf world. I fail at bussing Hime where I get maximum profit. It is also just a very strange thing to do on a D2 where we couldve easily taken down any of the inactives. Especially when Hime was one of the more active players tbh. It is just poor wolf etiquette tbh

and one could say "yeh but maybe you fubbed it out with the profit"
but like. I dont lol.

Here are my most recent wolf games tbh

https://www.mafiauniverse.com/forums/threads/45477-Witch-Hunt-V-Semi-Anonymous-Invitational (I am JOSIESONAVACATION in this game)

https://www.mafiauniverse.com/forum...-Demon-Confederation-(The-Mafia-Championship) (I sub in at N2)

https://www.mafiauniverse.com/forums/threads/39519 (in which me and Porscha fail at math and accidentally out each other lmao)

https://www.mafiauniverse.com/forums/threads/37936 (This is btw my first ever loss as a wolf in a non-turbo game after surviving D2. Very aggravating. Things have been downhill after that).

https://www.mafiauniverse.com/forums/threads/37613-Mafia-League-Match-One-Game-One (me and Happy proceeds to stomp the town whilst sniping at each other iirc).

what made you change your mind on Illwei?
because shes right, the interaction isnt as clearing as i thought..neither is sabers interaction with hime

how strong is ur town read of saber holding btw..i dont see him adding much to the game at this stage

about same for tempest
