Not necessarily redirection. Fuji usually has different interpretations depending on the game and setup. Also sometimes he includes kills sometimes not. She has to ask.

But just to be clear, do you also protect your target @Sky ?

It's a clunky role that smells a bit like i have a JK claim but need to nerf/dress it up a bit to make it more believable in case there's a bodyguard.
