You know, after Trump I'm getting a little bored of everyone just kicking whatever president isn't on their political side. I thought we who were silenced in the Cafe were better and more logical then that.

Are we? Or are we just as juvenile and just as much a slave to a party?
I was always under the impression the cafe was basically a woke echo chamber.

But I try to recognize the cognitive biases existing in us all. I've been shitting on Trump a lot lately. But frankly, the mummy is the dumpster fire we were told Trump (before 2020) was going to be. People know this and it does matter on this subject.

That's China's regular behaviour, the good news is Japan is building defensive infrastructure

Yes but Japan is far from ready. Hopefully the Afghan debacle gets them to spend much more on defense and on their navy in particular. A renewed Japanese naval presence in the area would be a big help in keeping the Indo-Pacific sea lanes open.
