vecna actions caused the lady of pain to rewrite the multiverse which is the in verse explanation for the transition from 2nd to 2rd editionVecna (Dungeons and Dragons) vs Dormammu (616)
WotC has made Critical Role Vecna (or at least the loose events happening there if not the details) the current official version of him by publishing Explorer's Guide to Wildermount and by having Akshan the Cruel have the Hand of Vecna, which he obtained in Critical Role, in Descent Into...forums.spacebattles.com
How the hell does that even work?
Oh no I know that, I was referring to how he's so weak in Critical Role. Different avatar/aspect of him I'm assuming?vecna actions caused the lady of pain to rewrite the multiverse which is the in verse explanation for the transition from 2nd to 2rd edition
the adventurers fought his avatar and had help from other gods and divine weaponsOh no I know that, I was referring to how he's so weak in Critical Role. Different avatar/aspect of him I'm assuming?
So that was just an avatar of him in the Critical Role setting as opposed to the capital G God Vecna?the adventurers fought his avatar and had help from other gods and divine weapons
Natural pokemon of the lowest end perhaps if we scale everyone up to Pokemon world physics (Where a gun is still apparently enough to freak out a person). People have to hunt, and before they tamed pokemon it would have to be the old fashioned way. It's just Pokemon humans >>> RL humans. Everything is just stronger there.Strongest Pokemon that can be shot to death?
What are the strongest species or individual Pokemon that can be injured and killed by the weapons and cartridges mentioned below? 20 shots of Pistol cartridge (.38 special, 9mm, .45 ACP, .357 Mag) 15 shot burst of Rifle/Machine Gun cartridge (5.56x45, 7.62x39, 7.62x51, 7.62x54R) 5 rounds of...forums.spacebattles.com
@Masterblack06 Is there even any that can get shot to death?
Any mortal can ascend to godhood in D&D depending on their achievements or if they impress another god to be worthy of ascension. Since CR’s version of Vecna had just been granted godhood would be safe to say that he is a lesser deity, which is universal. Avatars of deities have limiters, most of them range from country level to planet level. Before CR Vecna ascended he was a level 20 Wizard. So that was just an avatar of him in the Critical Role setting as opposed to the capital G God Vecna?
Because Vecna was a mortal man in the CR setting (iirc) who eventually become a god (but he was only a level 1 god so to speak there, hence why they managed to beat him and seal him away with the Prime Trammels), so I'm not sure how that relates to the wider D&D multiverse.
I do know that certain gods have weaker influence in certain settings though.
Wanda only goes tht far in the movies because she is a Mary Sue and the plot bends in her favor , Strange + all the mages being a complete retards is a proof of this
actually, you could argue the exact opposite, they had to nerf Wanda considerably just to make it so she didn't instantly win the entire movie.
she never used her runes to turn off the other sorcerer's magic, never used her power drain abilities to render anyone powerless, she never mind controlled a single person even when it would have given her an army of high-tier superhumans, and she never teleported instead opting to chase Dr. Strange and America with a bad limp.
also, this isn't the thread to talk about what you don't like about Wanda as a character nor is it the thread to woefully misunderstand what a Mary Sue is.
So CR's version of Vecna is different from the OG Vecna then?Any mortal can ascend to godhood in D&D depending on their achievements or if they impress another god to be worthy of ascension. Yes and the fact it's stated only a shairngan genjutsu in Madara level would be able to control him.
If any genjutsu could work on him the Uchiha clan wouldn't have been the main suspects in the first place.
Also the fact Kuruma already knows many mind controlling methods.
Xaviar feat sucks compared to the mind battle Naruto and Kuruma did against each other and the mayhem it created and Kuruma only lost that because Naruto had the seal to shut him down and Kushina power to suoress him in the fight. Also the fact Kuruma power itself is toxic that it turns people to ash and it's mere presence makes healing factors not work. So can Scarlet even survive a hit from him in his lower forms?
Saying she is immortal is a stretch does she ever regenerate from ash or anything or from losing her head?
Yeah. There are some exceptions in certain D&D settings where gods have other versions of themselves, but gods, in general, interact with other settings but have different rankings depending on how famous and worshipped they are. Like they could be a lesser deity in one setting and a greater deity in another setting. Belief plays an essential role for them like, say, for example, Mystra. In Toril, via Forgotten Realms, they believe that Mystra knows everything regarding magic and is classed as a greater deity in that setting. In Krynn via Dragonlance, magic has nothing to do with her, and she would have to start at the bottom ladder as a lesser deity to work her way her influence. Takhisis and Tiamat might either be the same entity or different entities. So CR's version of Vecna is different from the OG Vecna then?
How strong is she actually? The Scarlet Witch [MCU] runs a Naruto Gauntlet
Corrupted by the darkhold, The Scarlet Witch, is sent to the Naruto World with the idea that if she beats every opponent presented before her she will be reunited Billy/Tommy/ and Vision. She is in her main body, and at the strongest we’ve ever seen her in the MCU. Each fight takes place in a...forums.spacebattles.com
If this wasn't SB, Scarlet Witch honestly should take considering the people she was easily to effortlessly floor and what they scale to... but it's SB, so this is massively dragged out for little reason.
Yeah, I remember that specific example being a thing but it was on the tip of my tongue.Yeah. I don't remember much about the kind of stuff she has up her sleeve.
They are different people that conveniently have the same name.Yeah, I remember that specific example being a thing but it was on the tip of my tongue.
So just to get this clear, it's not some guy conveniently also named Vecna, but just Vecna in CR's setting? Aka that specific "avatar" or w/e.
Vader better watch out if he knows whats good for himDarth Vader (Star wars-Disney cannon) vs animatronics (five nights at Freddy's)
Vader is at his castle when the animatronics are teleported in to it on the ground floor ( or right out side if they do not fit) where a ROB inforems him if he wins padme will be resurrected . If vader wins he is put Fredys pizzeria as the night gaurd instead. Vader wins by killing the...forums.spacebattles.com
what in the name of god
That reminds me, there are multiple Prime Material Planes (and thus the Feywild/Shadowfell) for each respective setting right?CR Vecna is just a parallel universe counterpart to Forgotten Realm’s/Greyhawk’s Vecna. The other gods from CR are possibly also just parallel versions too.
