Doesnt the Balance need the shield for some loophole to exploit?
The shield absorbs the damage that Haschwalth takes and then bounces it back at the opponent with a multiplier so they take even more damage than he did.
The issue there being that he has to take (and obviously survive) an attack to begin with.
Yeah it’s pretty useless without the shield as he still takes half of whatever misfortune
Yeah strangely enough, the ability called The Balance is actually pretty balanced all things considered.

Which Vecna? Beyond having gone through various power-ups and power-downs over the years, he also got soft rebooted in 5th Edition. (in a way that completely breaks D&D history, but WotC doesn't care about that.) No version of Vecna has any of those things you just said.

Atleast VSB actually does their research so their wank actually has some basis even if they take it too far. SB legit banned anyone using outside research not because they can do better research, but explicitly because they CAN'T and they didn't want to be constantly raw-dogged over people bringing in better calcs on them.
You can literally see the difference when it comes to how they do the Bennu feat in Shinjuku in FGO vs. how ChaosTheory did it here and see how absolutely terrible their calcs are.
Honestly, Deathdealing is tied with the Visionary for me imo. Most of the other Sternritter abilities are otherwise pretty balanced.
