From what I've heard, you don't even need to look any further than other movie vampires to find characters that an fuck up Edward, never mind going into shounen manga.
Why the hell are people acting as if to defeat Edward Cullen, you need to defeat a Gojo-calibur opponent? Because... no... hell no is Edward that strong
Oh, yeah, this is true. Great find.
However... even though it took time to fully adapt to Red, Mahoraga is still adapting, and is only slightly injured after taking a point blank Red - just from one prior exposure, and an indirect exposure at that.
So, while Red was low priority, we still see that Mahoraga's adaptation is blazing fast, despite only having been exposed to it once.
My point is that one exposure to RCT should have been enough for the adaptation process to begin, so when Gojo was slashed again, it would have been noted that his RCT was slowing down, or something. But no, we see him easily pop out a new arm in 235 with no issues.
Same with Black Flash. It wasn't noted to be a priority, but a single exposure to Black Flash in 231 was enough for Gojo's subsequent Black Flashes to be shrugged off by Mahoraga in 235.
The same should have happened with RCT.
Mahoraga grew gills in response to being submerged in water. There's no reason to assume it can't develop biological countermeasures.
Stating this in spite of the fact we are never told or shown Mahoraga, a shikigami, possesses anything remotely similar to cells or organic structures is kinda silly.
LOL
do people not realize that the idea that servants wouldn't be able to deal with invisibility is literally setting breakings levels of dumb? in Mahoyo concealment magecraft is introduced which is just straight up invisibility and is apparently considered "elementary magecraft".Raiku cannot see Sukuna cleaver nor does she have a defensive NP to walk through it so Sukana wins
As soon as you pit Sukuna against a servant that can see or ignore cleave, Sukuna is dead
It actually depends on the potency of the Invisibility and its nature and the skills that a Servant has to see through it.do people not realize that the idea that servants wouldn't be able to deal with invisibility is literally setting breakings levels of dumb?
I mean I wasn't claiming that they would be able to see through it.. just that they could deal with It (probably via sensing intentions in the same vein as Kirei, Shirou, and Shiki do).It actually depends on the potency of the Invisibility and its nature and the skills that a Servant has to see through it.
We've had example of Servants having to deal with invisible foes and whilst they didn't get offed by people because they weren't able to sense them for example, they weren't having an easy go of it either.
Going back to potency, Concealment Magecraft is elementary magecraft, but something like a high rank Presence Concealment ?
That shit is another league completely .
That's the thing tho, there are instances where they could do just that based on the abilities they have, but it shouldn't be treated as a baseline.I mean I wasn't claiming that they would be able to see through it.. just that they could deal with It (probably via sensing intentions in the same vein as Kirei, Shirou, and Shiki do).
Not just the Nasuverse. Fiction in general.and yeah I'm aware that the nasuverse has different potencies of invisibility
Not literally, but from a certain point, it becomes pointless semantics. Like if you're good enough that your opponent can't sense you when you're a few feet away from him then...what does it matter what it's called ? The effect is literally the same.on a side note has presence concealment ever been straight up referred to as invisibility? cuz from what I recall it's always been treated as freakishly good stealth... tho tbf at a certain point stealth just becomes invisibility in fiction lol.
fair I guess I'm generally against characters getting abilities that they themselves haven't performed and I shouldn't be a hypocrite here. That's the thing tho, there are instances where they could do just that based on the abilities they have, but it shouldn't be treated as a baseline.
Cause not everyone has Instinct like Artoria or Mordred do for example.
I'm aware I just phrased that poorly (in my defense I haven't slept for like 21 hours). Not just the Nasuverse. Fiction in general.
yeah it's just arguing schematics at that point. Not literally, but from a certain point, it becomes pointless semantics. Like if you're good enough that your opponent can't sense you when you're a few feet away from him then...what does it matter what it's called ? The effect is literally the same.
Snip
The VN and the anime/movies of it are the 'tamest' adaptions while also being super strong in their own right.
People don't use anyone from Apocrypha for JJK because they get the biggest anime related oomph,
and FGO has the advantage of escalation and the mangas massively buffing things up even from that. (Mountain busting Raikou and mountain busting Fergus, for example.)
Salter and Herc have the actual biggest feats of the VN and movies (besides Gil by nature being above them), so they get the most threads for that reason alone.
For example, would you pit Cu, Emiya, Medea, Kojiro or Medusa (With just the VN/Anime) against Anime Mahoraga? (Well, Emiya could be a thing actually, but generally.)
Quite literally all of her fights feature her getting into a protracted fight before ever launching her Noble Phantasm. Same as regular Saber.
>FiammaLOL
Mortarion's diseases are very broken, he should get to Fiamma easily, he wins against the base Fiamma but I suppose the LPSD would win whoever attacks first.
This is where the fun begins.

would the death stuff even fully work on Mahoraga anyways? He's been killed multiple times already in the manga
