Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

Okay, so it seems like they did have the FTL Kimetsu like I thought they did, but they do have some really funky calcs about their speed:

Yeah, I can't buy that KnY is faster than MHA, especially the fashion of how they get those calcs(It's a similar problem with how they did Deku's speed feat which got them Mach 100 too)

This is weirder because from FV, both @ChaosTheory123 and PhantomFalcon actually get around 400+ Kilotons from Maximum Meteor... so where the hell they get 4.14 Megatons of TNT from?!
They're using vaporization for Sukuna's arrow for no real defensible reason in the manga. The anime you could swing it for Fuga, that's about it.

For the Meteor, they're abusing the shit out of very loose parameters for earthquakes on top of the fact the meteor was scaled off a random floor that isn't to scale with IRL parameters for the Shibuya Stream to get a meteor diameter nearly twice mine.

Yeah, that makes it even weirder to go that far...
Like I edited above too?

For the Meteor, they're abusing the shit out of very loose parameters for earthquakes on top of the fact the meteor was scaled off a random floor that isn't to scale with IRL parameters for the Shibuya Stream to get a meteor diameter nearly twice mine.

Gonna guess they didn't check to see if Shibuya Stream wasn't a real building or landmark or whatever before scaling

So yeah, they are literally pulling shit from their asses while playing fast and loose with feats? Knew it.

Probably just depends on the individual

They have a bigger community, gonna have more duds than not and quality control with that many people isn't easy *shrugs*

They try with that calc group I'd figure, but it's just a unpaid hobby at the end of the day so... eh

It should be noted that the "speed of lightning" does not perfectly exist in a vacuum like the speed of sound or light, which are mostly constant. The speed of lightning itself can refer to several different things and those can also be highly variable.

I like how he's pulling shit out of his ass to try and pretend that Ciel can't be truly as fast as lightning and thus "variables" when they already pull this shit when it comes to "Faster Than Sound" when that can absolutely mean more than just Mach 1... to just mean Mach 1.
You can't have your cake and eat it too BellowAll, you Overlord wanker.

When you artificially create lightning- it can move substantially slower. (Bottom left of the screen has a timer). It should still be a supersonic feat at the very least but not really that much above what Shalltear can pull of.

Except we long know that in the Nasuverse, Magecraft recreates the phenomenon itself through equivalent exchange:

Kara no Kyoukai Special Pamphlet - Encyclopedia: Magecraft [Others], p.038-039 [T]
Magecraft [Others]
A general term representing activities that artificially re-enact Mysteries/Miracles.
Although there were some differences depending on traditions and schools, the basic principle was still "the transformation of the magical energy that exists within the practitioner or the environment".
The practitioner would issue Commands according to the Foundation (System) of his school, and this would cause the execution of a predetermined Program.
Magical energy was the electrical current required to deliver the command.
Although magecraft gave the impression of omnipotence, it fundamentally produced Mystery through the principle of equivalent exchange.
It was possible to transform one thing into another, but it was impossible to produce something from nothing.

Tsukihime Dokuhon PlusPeriod - TSUKIHIME Dictionary: Magecraft [Term], p.188
Magecraft [Term]
A general term for the act of artificially reenacting mysteries and miracles.
Although each school has its individual differences, it is basically a mechanism for using the magical energy in the practitioner's body or the outside world, in order to reenact a predetermined phenomenon. The practitioner sends an order (command) to the foundation (system) controlled by their school, and a pre-made function (program) is executed.
The "electrical current" needed to send that command and execute the program is magical energy.
Though sorcery may seem almighty, it is basically the bringing about of mysteries by means of equivalent exchange. Accordingly, sorceries powerful enough to interfere with Nature will obviously require enough magical energy (mana) to fill Nature just to execute them.

Atrum uses Lightning Magecraft then had it be further bolstered by other Mages with Weather Magecraft and Svin still had no issues dodging it and Touko was able to react to Svin going for Atrum and Roa is an explicit master of Lightning Magecraft(Which is why it's his most common moveset in Melty Blood). You couldn't play that game anyway even if you tried.

Pretty sure MCU Captain America would beat his comic verison.
Yep, guy was bona fide superhuman physically. See him trashing Tony's IM suit and tossing Peter around.
Acting like Comics Steve ISN'T a bonafide superhuman or that anything standard movie Steve did is impressive by his standards?:heston

Well I think we're done then. You've shown a pretty clear line of escalation for what you've argued Ciel as (7000 tonnes to planet busting)

Which is what happened in the VN itself... this is what happens when people who do no research even when people bring in proof, you become a humongous idiot trying to pretend to be smart because you are trying(and failing miserably) to selectively employ "real world logic"(nonsense) to deny what's literally told to you...

But we should fully believe that Shaltear just has a World Item that can change the tide of battle because "World Item" and Shaltear's Invincibility is somehow onpar with Ciel's Immortality despite Shaltear permanently dying when she fought Ainz and had to be resurrected...

to the point I don't really think you have an actual stance, just more so an end goal of her "victory".

That's hypocritical as shit coming from the Overlord wankers which have gave nothing but bullshit potential weight of how strong Shaltear must be to knock around Cure Elim(As if that's fucking possible to do retarded guesstimates over how much each individual human body weigh when it would be well atrophied as zombies...)

I'm sure in the near impossible event Maruyama jumps the shark and writes a planet busting feat in the next novel you'll start bringing up density of the big bang arguments or something.

Ah yes, because it's ARCUEID, a being that is connected to the Earth in the most literal fashion like all True Ancestors being able to use it's absurd energy to attack Ciel and ramp them up to ludicrous degrees as if she's using a Divine Construct and Ciel is able to block all of them? ... that's impossible! Roa being able to move as fast as Lightning due to being called the Master of Lightning Magecraft? That's impossible and isn't distinct because "Real World Physics here"! But trying to pretend Shaltear's physical feat against Cure Elim and push it to the most insane degrees possible? Now that's not just probable, we should make it fact! Shaltear's World Item we have no damn clue about that hasn't even been shown yet nor mattered? That should matter and we can just pretend it's broken as shit! Hell, let's pretend she's a Dead Apostle on crack cocaine despite that's not even how she's stated in the series? Let's go all in with the shit!

Fuck off with this selective bullshit.

Mate you are arguing that Ciel goess from a 7000 toner to a planet buster by absorbing the powers of a guy who is even weaker than her.

It's literally explained in the shit he gave you... Dead Apostle Ancestor's Principle/Idea Blood is literally the equivalent of a Divine Spirit's Authority, if not stronger than that. It would be extremely obvious that would be a massive powerboost to have for someone of Ciel's capability and body to handle.

Are you seriously gonna claim the principle of a low tier ancestor like Vlov can boost somone to planetary levels of power?

It's not Vlov himself but his Idea Blood which is that strong, Vlov can't handle it's power at all and only uses the most brass tacks version of it which is literally explained earlier...

Thats a level of escalation well beyond anything you mentioned and the litteral definition of an outlier.

I'm going to be triggered over the constant casual use of outlier not for things that are genuine outliers... but for shit that people just don't like or refuse to understand. Because that's all that is at the end of the day, people just refusing to do any research and just say "outlier" to deny anything they don't like... but you definitely shouldn't say that about their shit even if it's more guilty than what they are saying what you are bringing with evidence is.

I dont really buy into the whole lightspeed servant shit either but this like an order magnitude more absurd than that.

I always find it hilarious when people say they don't buy into Lightspeed Servants(amongst many other things in the series as a whole) and the only reason they don't is just "consistency" basis as if that cannot be applied to every goddamned series on planet Earth but it ONLY is consistently used against the Nasuverse by SB-tards which further points out how insanely ridiculous their standards are for it in comparison to anything else(No other series constantly has to have it's TRANSLATION AND LOCALIZATION be scrutinized to absurd degrees despite other series like Overlord have the exact same issue and basis and yet no one does similar unless it's "convenient" to do so).

It's even funnier if they bring in TheWorld's dumbass as if he knows anything he talks about when he casually uses DeepL, something not even a Reddit Nasuverse fan takes with any real basis, let alone anyone truly knowledgeable from it... like Albert Kao, someone who is so knowledgeable about Japanese to English translations, Aniplex explicitly hired him to handle the translation and localization of FGO... whoops.

Nah, those are consistent as long as you only consider the writer writing them. In the very next singularity Sakurai writes a fodder character running at relativistic speeds. Narita was told by nasu to "not hold himself back" and escalate as hard as he wants, even if he feels it contradicts the lore.

:forizzle

That is NOT what Narita stated his interaction with Kinoku Nasu.

Nasu on Enkidu’s stat parameters circa Strange Fake Volume 2

Now, when the first book came out I received a lot of letters, etc., asking, “I know Enkidu’s stats change, but what about his fundamental point total?” I vividly remember consulting with Nasu-san before it went on sale.
Me: “About Enkidu’s stats, he has ‘Transfiguration,’ so I wanted to set his point total...”
Nasu: “Hmm. He is Enkidu, and he’s A rank, so all As.”
Me: “All As!? But isn’t that even higher than Berserker in the 5th!? Everyone’s going to say, ‘Heroic Spirit favoritism! He’s a Mary Sue!’ (A general term for ‘Here’s my ultimate OC who’s way stronger and more popular and luckier than all the characters in the original work! Yahoo!’-type characters in fan works, etc.)”
Nasu: “Don’t let it get to you.”
Me: “But, I mean, all As is even higher than Karna.”
Nasu: “Don’t let it get to you.”
Me: “To be honest, it’s so high that even I think his stats are too exaggerated...”
Nasu: “I said, don’t let it get to you!”
Me: “Eep!”
Nasu: “If you think about it the other way, it’s Nemes*s... All As is his base, and if he raises his strength to A+, another stat goes down two ranks...”
Me: “What cool-headed and precise worldbuilding...!”
Nasu: “And if... (etc., etc.)”
The editorial supervision I received was along those lines. As a result, please consider that, as of book 1, Enkidu’s total stat points are hovering at “a little less than all As.” But if his Master, the silver wolf, completely recovers, then even all As aren’t just a dream. (The “etc., etc.” is still a secret.)

All that happened was that Narita didn't want to make Enkidu broken and Nasu told him to not worry about trying to be "fair" and just do what he feels(Especially when Enkidu is Gilgamesh's EQUAL, it seems dumb to try and limit Enkidu, especially when Nasu himself later on used Enkidu as being the equivalent of a Divine Construct capable of holding Tiamat for an instant in Babylonia).
You fucking liar...

Or, in the context of those stories those are perfectly fine.

Ah yes, it's somehow perfectly fine to pretend that Olympus and Heian-Kyo somehow are divorced and yet not from the rest of Nasuverse Lore... that somehow Lightspeed Servants only have basis in those 2 singularities due to their authors... let's ignore that Nasu still supervised them heavily(To the point in Olympus, he explicitly had Mash and Ritsuka refer to Goredolf as "New Director" explicitly to fit their characters at that point) and he himself has went with Lightning Speed/Relativistic/Lightspeed Servants in plenty of his stories... what is with this insane reach?

But I am surprised that you're taking "could shift the earth to an unknowable degree" and instantly jumping to planet busting with 0 evidence while totally ignoring the same story hyping up vastly lesser feats. Just like I would be surprised if Sakurai suddenly wrote sub sonic servants.

One, LOL at pretending you don't try and advocate for subsonic Servants when it comes down to it. Two, yes, Arcueid's attacks tilted the fucking EARTH(And the Nasuverse Earth at that which I love that people keep pretending it's just a normal Planet)! And that was just ONE of her attacks which ramped up with every subsequent attack! Seriously, Breath of The Planet is not some random shit pulled out of Nasu's ass, that was the basis of Altera's attack as covered in Salter's Interlude in FGO and pops up a few times before that.

Or well, I'm not surprised. If you actually believed it you would've opened with that instead of eventually going there when all else failed.

He didn't because there was no reason to do so until you guys wouldn't stop stonewalling and pretended that Shaltear is a far bigger deal than she is...
Which is what most sane VS. debaters actually tend to do. Do I need to point out Goku being a Universal Buster in DBS to defeat Natsu? Or Salter being able to destroy Asteroid Bennu being further enhanced by the ludicrous speed boost to defeat Tanjirou?

>mahoraga is gonna adapt to someone elses regen
NIGGA HOW THE FUCK, thats not something he experienes, he has no way to adapt to something he cannot touch. and even the Victor can choose where he regens, unrepair didnt work why the hell would mahoraga do anything

It's Mahoraga's Adaptation, there is no sense to be made, it can do whatever it want because it allowed Mahoraga to get Gills...
Seriously, I hate this character so much for how retarded people became over it adapting to a basic bitch spatial manuever...

Kiritsugu saves Maiya with a smoke grenade from outside the building she was occupying, some 150 meters down on the ground
But what stopped Kotomine Kirei was an impediment beyond his expectations.

Suddenly a veil of white smoke appeared between him and the prey, completely obscuring his vision, and with it an irritating smell of chemical reactions rushed into his nostrils.

"Smokescreen!?"

What suddenly appeared in front of Kotomine Kirei was a smokescreen released by a military-use smoke dispersion bomb.

And in that instant when Kirei's sight was obscured by the smokescreen, Maiya escaped with haste.

...

Kirei picked up the smoke dispersion bomb, now empty of all smoke, from the ground and began to inspect it. It's an American grenade model. There isn't anything special about it; it's simply something that anyone can get if they had the right connections.

It wasn't tossed by that woman, because if he had found that she had moved in the slightest then he would've thrown a Black Key to stop her. This had been tossed in front of him by someone else to help that woman escape.

Of course, there shouldn't be anyone else inside this building. If that's the case, then the smoke grenade should have been tossed in from outside the building.

Kirei walked to the edge of the building-- ignoring the wind tugging at his frock-- and looked down.

Around the rubble of the former Fuyuki Hyatt hotel, there aren't any buildings that can stand shoulder to shoulder with this one. The distance from ground level to this position is at least a hundred and fifty meters. It'd be hard to aim at this position precisely even with a long range weapon. Not to mention a hand tossed smoke grenade. It's a cosmic farce for someone to toss that up from ground level.

But Kirei was, after all, an executor who has hunted many strange magi before. He was already thoroughly used to facing enemies who were beyond common sense. To him, this level of strangeness didn't have anything that was worth being surprised over.

Somewhere below him existed the magus who stopped him.

Volumen Hydrargyrum Speed = 8,572 m/s

Yep just your ordinary Peak Human Kiritsugu Emiya... can throw Grenades 150 Meters up casually and move almost 9K Meters per second without any Magecraft enhancements...

If what SB said was true, in that Emiya would classify as merely 'peak human' in general, then taking his speed into account, it looks as though Usain Bolt has been massively holding back on us at the Olympics, this entire time. :wow

I think it's important to note that the thread title specifically has "peak" in quotation marks, so...

Apparently Humans have always been built differently and we just haven't unlocked that potential yet...

Nah, the people they chose are very much within the typical bounds of peak humans and not one that can stretch it like Batman.
Even Yor is actually just barely superhuman(and not by much) outside of comedy feats and Guts and his Berserker Armor doesn't really give him any real adverse power, just push him to his absolute maximum at all times.

These People should just stop using the Peak human term in general. They either massively overestimate what a Peak Human can actually do or use it to describe obviously superhuman characters as a form of nonsensical downplay, it's insane. :kobeha
