Actually, it's officially worse than that now.
The anime actually DID have Auschwalen be stated and Yhwach only steals the ESSENCE of a Soul(aka, their memories, skills, etc.), not the entire Soul(aka Schrifts are the equivalent to a Soul Reaper's Zanpaktou, it's only bringing to the surface what the user is capable of). Now what does this have to do with anything? Ichibei's "Black" literally works under the same principle but in the context of names, when he covers up someone's name, he's not actually removing it entirely, he's just covering it up... now think upon what I just said:

Ichibei covers up the name, nothing about his power ever actually REMOVES the ultimate essence of what he covers up(i.e. He removed the name of Yhwach's sword... but his Sword is still there) and thus, Ichibei could never remove The Almighty nor did The Almighty actually "outhax" it. All it really did was JUST remove the covering of Ichibe's "Black"...

So yeah, any character stronger than Ichibei can still hilariously kill him if they are still stronger than him as long as they have the inner power to just lol off the "Black" that's put on them.
