Hard to believe that such a nondescript place was ground zero for the world going absolutely batshit insane, but here we are. A lot of it comes town to how utterly disgusting you and your clientele are. However it happened, the one thing that is clear is that you were a key ingredient in the starting and spreading of COVID-19. They tried to lock you down, but it was too late. The horse had bolted. Though, that didn't stop the authorities of Wuhan from treating their citizens like absolute dirt. They were basically living in a prison in the birthplace of the godfather of infectious diseases.

You are the Godfather, you will return "Flatten The Curve aligned" should you be investigated. You will also survive the first attempt on your life.

Twice at night, you may target a player and stop them from being targeted, and stop them from committing any actions themselves.

You may have been the biggest weapon in the arsenal in order to try and stop the spread of COVID-19, but how utterly fucking depressing you were. Tested positive? Self isolate. Refuse to get a test? Self isolate. Been within 20 foot of someone that's tested positive? Self isolate. Travel? Self isolate. Self isolating required you to stay in your home, oftentimes a single room in your house and have zero contact with anybody else and at the start, lasted for a period of two weeks! Just enough time to decide on suicide.... Or escape! Once at night, you may escape self isolation and go hide at somebody elses house. If they are Flatten The Curve aligned, then you will be unable to be targeted by anything. Unfortunately, if they happen to have COVID-19 then you will die, of course. If the person you are hiding with is targeted with a kill, then you will die alongside them.

As you are self isolating, you are unable to be infected with the disease and thus cannot be recruited.

Back when our Prime Minister had decided to have a "COVID press conference" every single day, he was clearly running out of shit to talk. After 10 or so years of trying to destroy the NHS, privatising parts of it and underfunding the rest, refusing to hire more staff etc etc, he decided that actually, the NHS is kind of great, isn't it? Look at how good of a job they're doing in the pandemic! He couldn't actually do anything to help it, and nor could the general public other than staying home to save it. But hey do you know what would be great? Stepping outside your front door at 7pm every night and giving them a round of applause. How wonderful. How wholesome. Anybody that did this was clearly the most vanilla fucking idiot known to man, but peer pressure is what it is, and some people were roped in. Probably the most eerie thing about the entire pandemic. Watching sports in an empty stadium, with no sound was creepy as hell. In football, you could clearly hear the players shouting profanities. In rugby, you could physically hear the collisions taking place on the field. What it exposed was that sport without the fans has no charm. It completely robs it of the energy and excitement that makes it so special in the first place. It was so uncomfortable that most of the major broadcasters added some kind of AI fake crowd noise to make it feel a bit less weird. We really were just watching 22 blokes run around on a field chasing a ball... But damnit, watch every single game we did! You were probably the craziest rollercoaster ride of the entire pandemic. When masking up was first introduced, it was strictly prohibited to not wear one anywhere and people would accuse you of literally trying to kill them if you were spotted without one. WHAT A SCUMBAG. Later, it was decided that perhaps a mask wouldn't be needed outside, as the disease is harder to catch outdoors. Then it was decided that perhaps a mask isn't really effective for stopping you catching a disease, but effective in stopping you from spreading it. After many ups and downs with new science being released and not travelling very well and misinformation spreading etc etc and it was decided that actually, wearing was pretty pointless and had minimal effect on anything. Brilliant! You have no role in this game, you fucking waste of time.

After a couple of months of lockdown, people started to finally realise how lonely and isolated people were feeling, especially those that lived alone! The brilliant solution? Let's all form little bubbles or "households" of up to a maximum of 6 (six!) people that you could gather with indoors without being thrown in prison and fined a million quid. Please make sure you don't exceed this number, or millions of people will die. Thanks. Three times at night, you can target a player and invite them into your social bubble. You may have a private chat and all that are invited will remain in the bubble until they die.

MVP - Grammaton

Been thinking about this all day as I think it’s really close between him and Ekko for the MVP slot. Both worked really well together and both took control of direction and came in clutch at different times and drove the mislynches. Really really good performance by both guys. What tips it over the edge for me is the trust that Gram managed to foster in the neighbourhood chat as I feel that ended up being integral to the win and especially managing to keep it alive through the disastrous tracker result and mislynch of fang. He also took the lead in the final phase and saw it home, although I don’t want to put this as a negative for Ekko as I do think it’s equally as important to recognise when you’re not well trusted and shouldn’t be leading conversation.

I don’t usually like giving out awards solely for role usage but there were no other stand outs this game from my pov. He didn’t capitalise on the damning info he had as much as I would have liked, but the usage and result itself was absolutely huge and had the potential to blow the game wide open. It’s the only reason scum didn’t score a fairly processional clean sweep in my opinion.

As for the game itself I enjoyed watching it. Despite how comfortably scum ended up winning, it was a little town sided and this was by design as recruits are a bitch to hunt for so I wanted to give them as much of a chance as I could. Also, mafia could have made it easier on themselves by recruiting certain roles of course and it could have worked out different. That said, if I ran this again I’d give mafia 1 more starting number as them failing both their recruits here would have been catastrophic and largely game deciding. I’ve put more of my thoughts on the setup in the dead chat.

Excellent performance by mafia from the start really. I gave town what I thought were 4 pillars they could trust and rely on and they managed to lynch 2 of them. Achieving 5 mislynches is nothing to be sniffed at, especially when losing two of your own.

Some townies were on the right track but were unfortunately unable to either persuade others or stick to their guns. Thought both tweet and soul killer played well and in particularly with tweet, thought he could have bossed this game if he played with more energy and made himself clearly town which he definitely has the ability to do.

Again, thanks for playing guys! Will add people that ask to the respective chats when I get some free time either tonight or in the morning. Others that have the ability to are free to go ahead and add whoever.​
