Drizzt Do'Urden (Dungeons & Dragons) vs Black Clover

Flowering Knight

The Fighter
V.I.P. Member
With some of the boosts dug up for D&D recently, how does he fare?

Round 1: Takes on each character 1v1
Round 2: Takes on everyone at once

How strong is he? Is he a legendary level?
Drizzt should be epic level according to multiple materials, the most blatant being his stats in 4th Edition, in which he was outright put in epic tier. So he's city+ at the absolute minimum, though it's possible he should be a lot higher based on his victory against Errtu (who should be one of the strongest balor demons in the setting of Forgotten Realms, and higher-end balors should be pretty up there). He's gotten much stronger since then since that was one of his earliest feats. Speedwise he should be FTL scaling from characters of a much lower level being able to call down lasers from other stars, and some characters should be capable of dodging said attacks.

He also has a fair amount of magical items and minor spells that grant him the ability to create magical darkness and light, minor healing.. His magical items include Icingdeath and Twinkle, the former being enchanted with ice and the latter enchanted to grant additional protection to Drizzt. Though from what I've heard the latter sword has been replaced with something virtually identical that also has poison. His bow, Taulmaril, is also enchanted with lightning. His figurine of power also allows him to summon Guenhwyvar, a panther that can't be truly killed while on the Material Plane (and should easily scale to Drizzt). He also has access to the Hunter state which turns off his morals and amps his physical stats.

Can he escape glamour world? He looks like a warrior class so i don't think he has access to the bullshit hax that magic offers. How good is his magic resistance? Black Clover has things like time, spatial, gravity magic. There is curses as well. Dnd probably has curses but does he resist those?

Against some of the higher-end types of magic Drizzt wouldn't have too much resistance to, to my knowledge. Although he does have a fair amount of resistances against poison, sleep-inducing abilities, and paralysis effects. He should also have a fairly high resistance to mind manipulation, given he could resist charm effects from Lolth. He should also have some amount of resistance to curses, given he was able to resist the effects of Charon's Claw, a cursed sword that attempted to dominate him.

He stops at guys like juluis and yami. I know there is time magic on DnD but drizzt doesn't seem to be on the level of those who use it. Dante crushes him with gravity, Megicula curses him. Zagred word magic screws him over. Dorothy traps him in glamourworld

> ftl drizzt

prob we were reading dif novels or drizzt had a manga by toei

in the novels i was reading

drizzt was like at least mhs+ and above city+ levels, with lot's of hax

but i want to see those ftl drizzt claims, if they are ''true'', cuz we throw the ftl term - almost sb style, so casual these times, lol

Drizzt should be epic level according to multiple materials, the most blatant being his stats in 4th Edition, in which he was outright put in epic tier.
He is just about epic level at level 21. Party members at a slightly low level like 16 or 17 in Tyranny of the Dragons campaign can fight against a weakened Tiamat who is around country level. It's a shame there is no official 5e stat block of Drizzt to compare to his other stat block from the older editions.

Errtu is an epic challenge rating Balor Lord in 5e who are comparable to Ancient Dragons.

Drizzt doesn't really have any FTL feats per se apart from power scaling from other adventurers and creatures.

Low or mid-level creatures can react and dodge to Anger of the Noonday Sun and Moonfire, requiring saves to dodge. Anger of the Noonday Sun creates an explosion of ultraviolet light, and Moonfire uses moonlight.

Rogue's and Monk's can very quickly react and avoid these spells with their Evasion skill that they get at level 7. Whatever requires a Dex save, like this spell.

It's not out of the realm of possibility when you have Dendar the Night Serpent moving at FTL speeds.

i am aware of all that you posted, except from this

hmmmm, with this being accepted [idk if it still holds up], he could potentially be

still it's up for discussion

either way

speed equal, drizzt goes to the top tiers, easily

Depends on whether Drizzt is a Mythic tier. You're hitting lightspeed, and even omnipresence then. Aeons exist everywhere at once, and even in different periods of time at the same exact time. Which extends to the whole multiverse. And demon lords like Deskari can one shot vanilla Aeons.

If we go the power scaling route, it's possible to potentially go even higher.

In 5e, some Druids can harness the power of starlight and the cosmos.
