Are you sure it's EOZ? Because he is still wearing his Orange Gi when he switched to his blue Gi at the end of Z.

Okay than and if it took SS1 Goku, and Luffy for some reason, to beat him and if it scales to Toei Canon, that would be possibly solar system level at least with how insane Toei power scaling is.

This was way before Super, so this is Toeiland/GT continuity (ie Post-Buu Saga Goku) not Super continuity.

He's wearing orange because they want him to wear his standard iconic look for this one-off crossover. Kinda the same reason why Vegeta wears his armor again in everything after DBZ's 2013 resurgence even though he stopped wearing it in the Buu Saga.

Golden Boy already answered it being from 2006 and he only stopped wearing the Orange Gi in end of Z, which is set years after the Buu Saga., and saying Goku is just wearing his clothes because they are iconic would be ignoring the fact I have checked up on screenshots and info on the special, and it shows everyone else with their Buu Saga clothes and ages, such as Goten and Trunks.

So it would most likely be Buu Saga Goku in Toei Canon.
