If Haumea/the Evangelist/Adolla (they are one and the same at this point) are outright changing the physical constants of the universe (making pi solvable, for one) it's pretty abundantly clear that the scope of their power isn't just planetary.

Death not having that sort of reach despite being stronger is just a weird inconsistency, I'd argue.

it also needs to be clarified that Death was reffering to the pillars in that context.
Sho asked him if he took the power of all the pillars, Death said yes but there was only one left (the eight pillar)and it was outside of the world (it is not talking about Arthur...because Arthur is not a pillar, unless Ohkubo decided to contradict his own well crafted story to then write Arthur has a pillar)
