Welcome to FPL Legends Mafia!

Welcome to the wonderful world of FPL, a game that claims countless hours of people's lives, brain power and eventually, their sanity. In this game we will be celebrating the legends of the game both past and present, those players that you always knew could be relied upon, or the cult heroes that we found along the way. As with FPL, play smart but most importantly, be lucky!

RULES

  • Day 1 will be 48 hours.
  • All subsequent days will be 24-36 hours at the discretion of the host.
  • Night 1 will be 24 hours with all subsequent night phases being 12-24 hours at the discretion of the host.
  • Night posting is NOT allowed.
  • Character and flavour claims ARE allowed.
  • Blocked shots will not be refunded.
  • I’ve tried to clearly explain role interactions in your PMs, but feel free to ask if you have any questions. I won’t be held responsible if you wrongly assume I would resolve something in a certain way.
  • I STRONGLY suggest not hunting off setup or flavour. Some characters will have flavour for their role, some won't. It's fairly random/based on laziness.
  • Mafia will have fakes of indeterminate quality.
  • Don’t discuss the game outside of any designated chats and the thread itself.
  • Do not request to be repped out in the thread. If you wish to rep out, PM me.
  • You may edit your posts within 5 minutes of them being posted. After this, strictly no editing is allowed.
  • Town are FPL Legends aligned.
  • Town win condition is “You win when all threats to the FPL Legends have been eliminated.”
  • Draws are a thing that can happen. If you don’t fulfill your win condition then herp derp you don’t earn a victory. I’m not gifting you the game just because of your alignment.
  • Do not directly quote your role PM.
  • Play to your win condition.

Game Mechanics

This game will feature an FPL mechanic! At the end of each day, there will be either a goal or an assist awarded. This will be decided by two RNG draws:

1) A 50/50 draw between "Goal" and "Assist"
2) A draw of all the remaining players alive

And the prizes for being awarded one of these will depend on your position, as follows:

ASSIST:
  • Assist = +1 Vote Power for following day phase

GOAL:
  • FWD = +1 Shot of role (Extra shot must be used that night or will be lost) | No effect if VT
  • MID = Role will always succeed that night, will bypass all protections, misdirections or immunities | No effect if VT
  • DEF = Can target 2 people with your role that night (won't use any additional shots) | No effect if VT
  • GKP = x1 Kill Shot - must be used that night or lost (Can only be awarded once per player)

The results of this will not be announced publicly, the player that receives the award will be informed by PM.
